depending on my tires, my jeep was perfectly capable of anything below 85 mph comfortably.

My stock XJ wont hit 80
Is it weird that my Jeep is smooth as glass up to 80?

I hit 110+ coming back from Providence Place Mall with a broken sway bar link on my old red 2-dr.
I lifted a tire going around the S-curve and almost rolled.
I nearly soiled myself.

Yeah, that's happened to me a few times. My cousin is allllllllll about the ghetto behavior, for some reason she thinks it makes her cool

I did my entire commute home last night at 85, set the cruise control and just flew. The roads were pretty empty at 9:30. Just had to look out for speed traps.
yeah... I hit 115 testing on i90 and 120 (GPS verified, friend's honda could not keep up :roflmao
on i88, not doing that again.:scared: yeah, I think I'd rather not do that.

My jeep doesn't have very well balanced tires. Well, I didn't balance all of them. It's filled with dangerous/smelly things. It's not comfortable going over 65. Not to mention I can't risk finding out how fast it'll go with my driving record.

Really stupid question, but is the governor different from the rev limiter or the same thing?
My driving record isn't TOO bad... 10-over ticket in NH, failure to observe traffic device in NY (I think), that's about it. Could be better, and was till June, too late now.

the last time i hit the rev limitter was when i was nearly stuck in a median. i asked the cop if i could keep trying and he laughed and said sure. i pinned it and pulled out.

He was talking about the fact that he needs new tires and that BMW wants to charge him like $200+ for mounting and balancing them (they are run flats so apparently are harder to do :dunno: I said I plan on mounting/balancing mine myself and he thought I was crazy until I told him how to do it. I think he still believes I'm crazy
Edit: Oh and the fastest I had my jeep was GPS verified 115ish back when I was on 30's w/o lift. That was with my Jeep fully packed for college... quite a bit of weight. Still had more in her but I hit a pot hole and she started rocking alot. I had to slow down. Also there was traffic ahead. Oh well. After lifting the fastest I got was about 93mph uphill (verified by my buddy who was driving his mustang).
