Yeah its a little crazy sometimes, I have it set to not do more than a certain number per day so I don't go over my limit though.

I'm guessing Paul is someone on here but I'm not sure - xcalibur223 maybe?

I've had that happen a few times during tests.

What pissed me off the most about the last time it happened, was one of the texts was from my friend who was telling me the formula to use for the question I was stuck on. The reason I was pissed about it was because I didn't open the text until after I handed in the test.

now THAT sucks.

Most all my exams were hard as all hell, but my prof's were realistic and understood engineers would always have reference material so the exams were open notes, open text, open whatever.

So yeah, as long as you had the correct info in your notes or you knew where to find it in your book you were set for the exams... but even after spending a week prepping for it and knowing I would have note access the exams were still hard as hell :banghead:

Ya, the test was for heat transfer, and it was open book.

What sucked even more, was I actually knew how to do the problem, I just got really confused because the question said the bar was infinite length, and the length was a variable in the equation. I had the correct equation written down on my sheet, but I just didn't go far enough to see that it canceled out, and the question was a curve ball anyway, so that got me messed up.


Just checked on my order from Ruffstuff placed 12/29/09. Yesterday made two weeks, and the order is still listed as "Pending" on the order info on the site.

i remember the nac facebook thread

i gained about 30 friends in 2 days

im usually pretty selective about who i confirm, but that was too much work so i added everyone.

Just checked on my order from Ruffstuff placed 12/29/09. Yesterday made two weeks, and the order is still listed as "Pending" on the order info on the site.

maybe its cause theyre the stiffeners. things like the covers and brackets are easy and always goin out the door and always in stock. things like the stiffeners are made in batches and might have some wait time:dunno: it wouldnt hurt to touch base and get the 4-1-1

i ordered them and got an e-mail 20 minutes later saying they were shipped

on another note

i ordered some joints from ballistic fab

and one is missing the damn set screw

and it is such a measly part that i dont want to waste my time calling them and bitching about it missing.

i thought i would give them another shot, but if these joints end up sucking i'm done with them.

the last order i placed with them was in 07 and it took over a month for them to ship the shit out.

as for the set screw, you should be able to find that at a good hardware store. its just a simple screw with a hex drive head

while on the hardware topic, i noticed my 60 & 14b ruffstuff covers came with shorter countersunk bolts then what is on my 30 & 8.25 now. the bolts i recieved only thread into the housing about a 1/4-5/16" whereas the other ones go about 1/2" in. i dont like this.

i wouldnt like it either. but 1/4-5/16" is sufficient imo.
