THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

As for the truck, it will take me all of about 5 minutes to make it READY to tow, however I do want to drive around for like an hour or so with a load on the trailer just to get used to it.

 just hook up the fawker and tow it. no test drives needed, quit yer bitchin.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't know if I'm going to end up towing on Sunday...

Too much crap to get done and too little time. Plus I don't feel like making Sunday the first time I tow 5000+ lbs.

+1 for Ross. STFU Colin.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why do I feel like I am going to be much more motivated to work on the Jeep when it is the summer?

Then again winter = cold. Summer = mosquitoes. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so it's comfortable to be out in just a sweatshirt. Then I can set up a table outside and have a work area and just cover it in a tarp overnight.

Honestly, I think the best time to work on a Jeep is the fall, right between first frost and when it gets really uncomfortably cold. No bugs, it's still mostly light out in the evenings, decent weather, and you don't sweat your ass off because it's 90 billion degrees out in the shade.

i love that weather... but i do clean up and bring everything inside. especially my tools. i've been known to leave tires outside in the walkway though.

I don't mind if you guys want to come up, just give me a call. I'll be around on Saturday from probably about 11 a.m. on. I don't expect my brother's drop bracket install to take more than like 2-3 hours, I've had everything apart before.

if i don't work on my stuff there, i'll at least drop the tap off and prolly help you out a bit if you need it.

I am a fan of spring or fall. Either works for me. I do like it to be a bit on the warmer side so I can be comfortable out in just a long sleeve T or short sleeves. Not saying I want it sweaty ass hot out, just warm. Heat usually doesn't bother me TOO much. It's just humidity that kills me.

I live on a small back street so I don't have to worry about anyone stopping by and "borrowing" my stuff for the most part. I would pack up my tools but (for example) if I am building a 44 or something and have that on a table/stand out back, I will leave that outside. Or if I have a table saw or vice that is bolted to the table it will stay out there. Either that or if I get lazy I may just leave everything out there if it's a friday night and I know I will be back out first thing sat morning.

I don't necessarily need any help (though I appreciate the offer) but could definitely use the tap. Could always get some buffalo chicken pizza afterwards as well :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ohhhh I liked that pizza. Maybe hopefully I can take a jaunt down there with my SICK new DD if I get it tomorrow. Gotta be back around Dracut by 6ish though so that'd mean I'd be able to stay in Stoughton til 5 or so...

Oh you need help alright, you just don't know it. For buffalo chicken pizza I'll come down and not help you too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

For those that are going to Everett's there was 2 YJs and 1 TJ but they were getting pretty stripped. Today is the day they would normally swap out the Jeep section, so things could disappear.
