1/40 second
f 5.6
no flash, just my desk lamp since i didn't like what the flash was doing up that close. i can get you the histogram color balance also if you'd like

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what iso? i don't need the histogram color balance :-p but thanks for the offer. i'm just curious.

why f5.6 and not lower? were you zoomed in a bit?

it was iso 400, i had it on auto for that since i'm usually a bit lazy with it. i had actually started with a higher f number and lowered it down until i figured it looked good, so i left it there. it only goes down to like f4.5 i think, but i may have just not figured out the camera completely

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I cant believe how productive I was tonight. I put the hydro assist steering together & pulled the exhaust apart on the CJ I'm working on. I washed all the parts of a frontend Bob's re-gearing for KOH and I put my motor on a stand and tore it all apart. Tomorrow after it dries I put it all back together with the new bracket and hopefully set it in place.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I think this weekend at everett's may be when I get TJ flares. Idk why but I woke up this morning thinking that I might want to swap off my lawn edging one of these days.

Then again by the time the wkend rolls around I will probably just decide to stick with the edging and be cheap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i've never been bothered about my tires.... i would say FIRI flareless.

hmm, i like to set the iso and aperature myself and let it figure out the shutter speed. that way i can adjust my settings to get the shutter speed that works. or vice versa, set the shutter speed and iso and let it figure out the rest. i like to set the iso because that determines so much of how a picture looks. just my .02

I was never bothered about my tires when I was running flareless, but then I needed to get inspected and threw on the edging.

I already have the flares all set... I just remember seeing a TJ at the JY (I think) and thought that if I could get them cheap enough, maybe I would steal the flares.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There were a couple TJs and YJs, not sure which were which, wasn't really looking.

off to work...

I wish I could leave for work at 8:30...

Yesterday sucked, but I hope to use it to my advantage and leave early either tomorrow or Friday.

I don't know if I'm going to end up towing on Sunday...

Too much crap to get done and too little time. Plus I don't feel like making Sunday the first time I tow 5000+ lbs.

gotcha. I think YJ rear flares would work really well. They're a bit softer than the TJ ones too... I happen to have a pair that I never got around to installing.

See how much you can get done on friday night and saturday... maybe give it a good test drive?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah I'm just not sure it's going to happen.

I have to use Friday to get some of my homework done, and then Saturday morning I have to help my brother install his drop brackets.

For Saturday, I have to install the nutstrips (I'm going to go Friday morning and pick up the bolts from Graingers), put on the exhaust hanger for the tailpipe, double check the front wheel bearings/ball joints/u-joints, grease it all up, check the rest of the fluids and whatnot, and pack all my tools/spare parts. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

As for the truck, it will take me all of about 5 minutes to make it READY to tow, however I do want to drive around for like an hour or so with a load on the trailer just to get used to it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, might be... I might be joining too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't mind if you guys want to come up, just give me a call. I'll be around on Saturday from probably about 11 a.m. on. I don't expect my brother's drop bracket install to take more than like 2-3 hours, I've had everything apart before.
