crappy u-joints are way cooler then crappy ball joints:thumbup:

so, it looks like black jeep is eligable for cheaper insurance since for the last couple of years ive driven under 5000 miles per year. i was thinking of taking it off the road while i do the stiffeners and tons swap, but now this route will be alot easier and almost as cheap (if not cheaper since i wont have to pay registration fees and junk when i put it back on).

Bill, I was talking about kingpin 60s which is what i have. Also it does depends on how fast the shafts are spinning whrn they collide to pull out the balljoints.

It blew up because of crappy baljoints? Wouldnt have happened with a 60. Only reason im prob going to go with a 60 is because i got one for cheap, and like ross, i like to hammer down. I wont have to worry about breaking anything

not to be a dick but you say you have money issues with fixin your jeep and with a good set of long arms, your gonna look at spending atleast $2500 on getting a 60 under your rig, just make sure you know what your getting into before you start

Yeah I should have stopped, but the way the carnage looks, it seems like the ball joints gave out which took out the axleshaft. I'm not surprised, as they looked like really cheap ones.

Yes. Like Ross blew up 297x u-joints because they were brute forces.
