What are those type of wheels called again? That's what I want. I would trade my ecos for them in a heartbeat.

My Honcho gets 4000 miles to the gallon while running on cactus jizz
:roflmao:

My parents have had more badass vehicles than myself.

Therefore I fail as an offspring.
You're just lucky Hasta

cmelo - like Colin said they're turbine wheels, I see them show up on here periodically

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If I find out one of you has turbine wheels I'm gonna smash all your belongings

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone have any idea how annoyed I was Christmas shopping last night when everything I picked up was made in China junk? I knew it was bad last year, but golly gosh darn there is SO MUCH JUNK on the shelves these days.
Seeing as how it was cold as balls today, I'm thinking about putting a remote start in the Briarwood for when I start work. I have to walk 5 minutes to get to my car in the morning, and I think it will be nice to get into a warm car.
Either you walk terribly slow or that is one heck of a remote start. Most I've seen unless they use a pager/in car phone have a range of a few hundred yards or so at most.

I can solve some of that problem for you, pass me over the keys.

My dad used to drive one of these everyday

My dad used to drive one of these everyday when he was younger than all of us. (440-6 4-speed IIRC and nowhere near as nice looking)

My remote start reaches DAMN far. I'd say about 1/8th mile, no joke, just ask Adam.

Haha I love my CTD. But when your MOM drove a '73 Cuda and an 87 Ramcharger with a 440 on 33s...it's kinda hard to one up them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All I worry about is that I can either a) Park on top of my mom's car. or b) go somewhere no matter what the weather is outside. That's how I ended up with a Jeep.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need another 15x8 d window with 4" BS. Anyone know of someone with one for sale?
Pretty sure I saw some in NAC classifieds actually. Believe it was a set of 4 for $150, and another guy selling just one.

Nice. My dad drove a bright red Corvette for about ten years, I don't know what model year it was but I remember him selling it when I was around 4 because it was blowing blue smoke, needed a ring job, he was way short on money, and had two kids and a third on the way by then. My mom drove an AMC Pacer :anon: Sister wants to get a street bike though, but my mom gives her death glares every time she mentions it.

EDIT: oh yeah, when/if I build my new car remote+alarm setup, it'll allow me to track it with about 30 foot accuracy, turn off the fuel injectors, lock and unlock the doors, and possibly start the engine. All from up to 5 miles away and when within range of an amateur radio packet digipeater, over the internet. :moon:

My grandmother drove a Pacer. She loved that thing.

Also, my dad was going to sell his '70 hemi challenger at one point. My mom wouldn't let him. He's had it longer than he's been married to her. He also somehow got her to help pay for mods to it when they were dating.

I'm looking for the cheap prick specials now :(
I'll keep an eye out.

While we're on the subject of parents first or near first cars, here's what my father drove in high school/college with a 400 quadrajet (same color scheme too). Had he not been rearended it might still be around. I guess it's why I want one some day.

I know its far, but a 5min walk? Given the average walk speed is what 3 to 4 mph? That's 1/4 to 1/3 a mile.
