THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Some lady in New Zeland was flashing drivers as they went by and one guy ran her over. Must've been some gross ta-tas.

that's pretty undeniably awesome

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im a fan of a 35-37 on an xj

the wheel openings fit a 35 perfectly trimmed and a 37 perfectly if you add a little sledgehammer to the trimming equation.

i love what i got going on now, stockish axles and 33's. if something breaks i can get a new stock part for cheap/free and swap it in.

for the one run i had 35's on my 44/60 that was foggin awesome and i cant wait til this jeep gets there. i beat the piss out of it without thinking about breaking. and it was silky smooth on the street.

never again will i run a 35"+ bias ply swamper

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just a random post by me as i dont have anything cool to say

I don't blame you. I love my SXs offroad but they leave something to be desired on the street. Although, knock on wood, I've had it over 70mph according to the GPS and not even a hint of death wobble yet...

Perfect setup. I love a full bodied XJ like that. just lengthen the rear wheelwells openings some more and trim out the front of the inner fenders and a touch of dovetail:D thats how ill do it when the tons roll under.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I saw a pic of an XJ yesterday that had the wells trimmed and the rear went into the back of the door 2.5"s. It looked good as well as allowed him to run 2"s less of lift.

I really like the look of this! And I bet you can fit 2 snowboard between them instead of folding the rear bench down.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel the need to drive out to where-ever this Pano's place is and try it...

...but I would probably end up 10 minutes into the drive and realize that I am within 5 min from a good local shop and call them to get a sub instead of driving a couple hours for food...

...though I feel like I should make a day of it, go to Springfield and get hot table for lunch, maybe hit up Pano's for dinner if it is relatively close to Springfield, then go to Sophs for snacks and drinks at night.

Edit: Breaking News: I really dont want to be at work right now :banghead: :(

I know the cool kids will post up but you can go to Giorgio's on Pearl st. in Brockton and get the same, much closer to you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bump, If I had the space in my Jeep I'd buy those two front seats from you too. I'm just worried about fitting all 5 in it now.

That's exactly what I planned with my XJ, except my roof would be chopped right behind the rear seats. When I was making measurements I ran into clearance issues though. seems like the rear seats are a bit further back into the cargo area than stock, which would solve the clearance issues a bit I suppose  I am still debating whether or not I should attempt to fab up some seat rails and try to fit buckets in back. Maybe I will do that tonight with my passenger seat, see if its even a feasible idea.

Edit: bump, you have front seats for sale? I may be interested :eyes:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I plan to keep full roof. If I have to I'll move the seats back and remover the head rest. I generally don't have people sitting in the back and if I do they're only about 5'8" the tallest. My mom and two friends are the only people who actually know how to get in the back of my XJ, no one else can figure it out. But I don't mind loosing 8 nuts if I need the extra room. And it separates me from the soccer moms. :D

Yeah, if I did the bucket seat swap in back it would be full roof for now. The chop is somewhere down the line if I ever do get around to it.

I would rather keep the rear seats where they are but I already have the headliner out so that wouldnt be an issue. Maybe I should move hte rear seats back a bit, give the rear passengers some more legroom. Now that you mention it losing 8 nuts wouldnt be that bad to get the cargo room if needed. I was talking to a friend this morning about a local work cornhole league we have each summer... he mentioned people should bring lawn chairs and I said I will drive the Jeep and just pull the front seats to use as a lawn chair, so I planned on pulling stuff anyway... now you got me thinking... damnit, I hate thinking.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Corn hole league!?!?!?! Sounds awesome, horse nuts and corn hole are the two best redneck games ever. But I'm also planning a rear fold down tire carrier, so that will also double as a seat when down. And the rear bench in my uncle's '99 sucks to sit in for more than 30 minutes so I can't imagine my '94's to be much different. I'll be looking for a set of front seat come spring time, I hate working in my garage in the winter, the only heat in there is from a propane burner thing and I can only stand it for an hour until my eyes and nose start to burn.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Installing my lift in a week and a half is gonna be fun, I'll be doing it in my driveway unless I decide that I can get back out of my friend's garage on aired-down stock tires lol

I'm thinking I may not be able to, because I'm already less than 1/2" from hitting the ceiling with my roof rack + air horn on my current tires and axles, and my new rear axle is going to give me like an inch of lift just from the axle tube and spring perch size differences.

I think I'll be doing a lot of this:
:shiver::shiver:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Back it into the garage and when you're about to leave... FLOOOR IT! Then keep going and never talk to that person again.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:roflmao: I doubt that'll work well, the driveway is steep and there is a pond right across the street...

And I like the paint on my roof too much to do that :(
