Call. :D
According to Summit Machine: "They are available with our "Whiskey Logo" or plain." I'll bet RCV would do the same with their flanges as well. Doug @ Extreme Axle sales also has some plain I believe. There are a ton of places that sell them, most just resell really.

Just be sure to get flanges that you can run without the slug in case for whatever reason you need to.
Shutup RCV.
Eh, they aren't for everyone.
You realize buy posting that what happens when you build yours, right?

HAHAHA!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Kyle - any idea if you're gonna be in the area sometime today? If you are, drop me a text about 5min before you show up and I'll be at my Jeep when you arrive.

Colin - thinking I'll be rolling out around 6 tonight, if you can tell me what address to go to I can either drop the stuff in/on your Jeep or meet you there.

... what's that about a single Jeep girl? :eyes:

MY TIRES GOT DELIVERED A DAY EARLY :party::party:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, you won't be able to get in here (gated, badge access only). But you can park across the street at the billiards place and just give me a call when you're about 5-10 minutes away so I can meet you.

1001 boston post road, marlborough, ma

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ok, works for me. Not too surprised by the access restrictions, didn't realize the parking lot would be covered by it though!

EDIT: oh hey, top of page 1700

bahh.. so a couple people are saying based on my clutch symptoms it might actually be a bad blutch job. can anyone shine more light on this issue?

again, i'm barely able to shift into any gear about half the time, and the clutch engages about an inch off the floor, and partially engages even with the clutch pushed to the ground.

Replace the slave you already bought and go from there. It could be either.

Bill's right, it could be either. But I've had clutches go on my Jeep, and it didn't act exactly like when the slave went out. What your describing sounds exactly like how mine was behaving when I needed to replace the slave. And like others have said above, just replace that first and go from there, But if I had to guess I'd say the slave will take care of it

HAHAHA Ill just do all that, cryo the whole thing when its done, wirewheel and buff it shiny, then shoot it with clearcoat. .!.:D.!.

?? Slug is the piece that the stub splines to and what splines to the hub, right? Can you remove the slug and still have the cap on and such? fill me in. better yet, give me a link to some.

Yes.

I don't see why you can't remove it and just put the cap back on. The shaft in no way shape or form supports the weight of a vehicle in a hub/spindle setup.

i believe on some of the ones out there, the cap bolts to the slug only. thus no slug, no cap, big hole.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Dude, I totally already told you three places to call. :)

I like pictures and junk!!! i dont wanna talk to people, i hate people. i wanna see and look at them and make my own decision.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

alright, im gunna get off my ass and go back out to the container. do some more grinding on the truss for a better, lower, sleeker fit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'd rather talk to the people that designed it.

They probably know more about it than I do.

That, and they're more likely to give you a discount. You can't get @$$ kissing points from a computer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ok ok, guys. I'm bored. please talk.
