THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nothing like comin home from work and crackin open an iced cold brew
x2. Leaving work in a min or 2, and either swinging by the house then to the bar or straight to the bar. Brother will be calling me when he is out of B-ball, I will order a pizza, head home with it, will be delicious, philly cheesesteak pizza, mmmm

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Someone find me a set of 35" or 36" Toyo M/T's, and I'll highly consider getting them.
The 33s are already worn? Darn you must drive that a lot!

:D :D :D

(not mine and I don't know the seller)

Hmmm.....not a bad price for a 37" tire. best price i can find for a 37" claw is like $315-340 on sale right now
Eh, for that must money you could have a better tire than a Claw, IMO.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i like my claws, they're cooler than xterrains (SUCK ASS). They're not as good in the snow as my generals were but they get the job done. that is all.

p.s. Bill needs to wheel...and so do i.

Yes, yes we do.
I can get you fixed up with 4wd again if you want to shell out the cash for the new D30 gears I'll set 'em up for ya. I know it isn't a permanent solution, but it's affordable and will at least make you able to get over those snowbanks in the parking lot that wouldn't be possible in 2wd. ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yah, that's what i'm going to do. throw some gears in it and be real careful. i'll let you know when i get them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i've got NO idea how much my dad and stepmom are willing to spend of me for christmas ( i think more than usual, they've "so proud of me" about all my school work busting serious balls) so i'm going to throw out a few reaches to see. i'm eyeing this sucker pretty seriously though,

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542180-REG/Canon_2756B003_EOS_Rebel_XSi_a_k_a_.html

i considered that one... but i got a smokin deal on my nikon.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll be here late again today...I can almost guarantee it.

i'll give you a penny if you can guess where i am right now...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

think its about that time to head to the bar

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just realized I am far too lazy to install emergency brake shoes today. I hate drum brakes.

guess I'll sit here and drink beer and maybe install the OS on my all-new desktop...

drum brakes suck! cant wait til i have money to pick up an 8.8

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's the funny thing, they're on an 8.8! The e-brake is a drum brake inside the hat on the rotors.

pro comps are icky everywhere, i had x terrains for one wheeling run, i couldnt handle the amount of suck they delivered.

claws are icky, not bad when its dry i guess, but add moisture/snow and fuggedabout it

those prices are reasonable, i haven't heard anything bad about those either. something to consider when the time comes i guess.

big cheap tires that dont suck in the northeast= iroks. they are also quite bearable on the street. very good in the snow as well

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what kind of price would i be looking at for an 8.8? and are they in all year explorers?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You want one from a 96 or 97 or later to get disc brakes. They're in most year explorers though. If you feel like rolling up to Worcester this saturday I'll help you pull one at Sam's (they charge $105 inc tax) but it's gonna suck if there is any snow on the ground still.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just got back from the bar... I wish I had an all new computer to work on :( Mine is 2.5 years old now. What OS you get (or "get" :D)?

i was still at work...
Eh, I thought there was a chance you were trying to trick us. I had a 50/50 chance. So I am back from the bar and got a philly steak pizza for my brother and I.. needless to say I am full and not motivated. Trying to decide if I want to go finish welding in the patch of floor pan I started last night.. Part of me says yes, the other part says "yes, but only if you have a radio to listen to, which you dont, so F it and put on comedy central"

Edit: or not comedy central... apparently if you have HD and all the good channels there is a comedy central stand up channel.. my brother is watching it downstairs, it was amusing.
