i need to get mouse traps!
i just took a half-asleep-piss and mid stream a mouse jumped out from behind the toilet. i nearly peed all over the floor since it startled me and made me jolt up. geez.

ok back to bed

I had one jump out of my carpet from the Jeep (carpet is not in the Jeep... folded up off to the side) when I moved it.

One also did some damage to one of my seats. Drivers side seat now has a nice hole in it. Oh well.. didn't get all the way down to the foam so it's definitely patch-able (or I can just ignore it the hole all together). Didn't get any work done on the floors yesterday but all my seats covers are nice and clean now :)

I also found a mouse in the airbox of my Jeep.. and one in the airbox of my motorcycle. And squirrels or something decided to use my glove box to store acorns (it was literally packed full, still not sure how they got in there...)

I still think the best was when my father found a mouse in his lawnmower... or well... he found the scalped remains of one on the lawn next to his lawnmower once he started the thing up. :roflmao:

Edit: Oh, and I also had one living in my exhaust (side exhaust for now since I was too poor/lazy to go buy a tailpipe the last time i did the exhaust. The P.O. put the tailpipe from a 2.5L on there or something... didn't fit). Anyway, I started the Jeep one afternoon and a lot of wadding (whatever the mouse used for it's nest) plus a mouse came shooting out.

I took an entire 1lb sack of unshelled peanuts out of a customer's airbox when I still worked at the quicklube once. Luckily they thought it was just as funny as I did. Got an air filter sale on that one too, the chipmunks had chewed about 25% of the air filter up to make their nest :roll:

If you end up renting the garage let me know, I might show up when I do my floors and/or axle swaps... oh, and I usually bring tools and beer to such events.

Long story short I currently rent a 10x10 storage unit for all my junk (couches, bed, dressers, dishes, etc) that I brought back from my apt in VA since I don't need them until I get my own apt/house. The place next door has a 50x50 available (but says to call for a price). My father saw the sign for the 50x50 and stopped to take down the number so I could call since he thought I would be interested if the price was right. Ends up he recognized the # and knows the guy.

My father offered to call on my behalf since he knows the guy who owns the building and ask how much to rent it. I am expecting it to be very pricey but my father is going to try and talk the guy down (aka, my father will say "you're making nothing off it now, ill give you 200$ per month... Then you [the guy with the building] can leave the sign up that it is available for rent. If you get a real renter at full price, we will move out that day")

Hoping for the best, calling my father over my lunch break to get an update.
