THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Also, I should note that I wish all TREs were built like the one I had to pull apart on the trackbar to get this d30... I had one of the guys from the yard prying between the oil pan and the top of the trackbar with the forklift and it didn't break. I'm not talking half-arsed prying, either - he had the forklift stuck in there and was throwing it around so much the back end and right side of the junker actually came off the ground a few times. The balljoint didn't even budge. Every other balljoint I've had to pop has come apart way easier - the one I popped on the steering of a junker at the all-you-can-carry, all I had to do was grab the drag link and yank on it with one hand :scared: that one was really, really worn out. We screwed around with this one for a good 45 minutes without success before I gave up and started pulling the trackbar bracket - bolt at the other end was too tweaked up to pull out with the tools I had with me.

Man I wish I could afford that. I think it would be enough to make me a bumper/cage. Oh well, my millermatic 135 will have to be enough for the time being. I got tons of wire for it too, so I will be able to go forever before I need to spend any money :D (except on CO2.. I am out of that, but I have a couple lbs of flux core so I am set for now).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I should work on the Jeep after work but half the time by the time I am home I just want to relax and leave the Jeep for the wkend. I can't wait until its light out until later so I am more motivated to work on it, or once I man up and buy some mean area lights

Once I start hitting up the gym after work again I won't be getting home until like 7:30 or later again. I hate 45 min drives to work sometimes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nah, didn't look at it. I was thinking about getting that if I could pick it up cheap and selling the altima. Put a bolt through the body panel and use my come along to pull it out until I can get the rear quarter replacement (and do it right). Sell my altima for what I owe and just be free of almost half my monthly bills.

So it wouldn't necesarily lead to a build... if it's really got a clean title I would fix that and get it on the road right away.

What do y'all think. Unibody damage or you think the body took most of the damage?

And don't you dare bid on it  It's mine [maybe]!

borrowing this from Bill's thread but you get the point...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah that's the pic i was thinking of. thanks adam

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's what I was thinking when I saw that pic. Looks like the unibody may not be folded under as much as was on Bills since that one for sale didnt have a hitch.

But I just got the official "you can't keep it here, if you want it buy it and bring it somewhere to get fixed"... i.e. "bring it somewhere and pay thousands of dollars for what might be a pretty cheap fix if you do it yourself". Oh well, guess I won't be getting it either way.
