I just realized I haven't touched my welder since I bought it a couple weeks ago.

I need more free time.

and besides... VW's are all about doing things right and making it clean. welding coils on a VW would be like treating it like a jeep.

however... cutting them does not cause them to crack. just sayin :angel:

If that's what VWs are for...

Then CTDs are all about blowing black smoke and making other cars look like they're standing still.

One of my co-workers asked me for a ride to work while his car is in the shop. I don't think he realized I was the one with the lifted jeep in the parking lot... should have seen his face when I rolled up.

really? dang... that's a sweet welder. i desire to upgrade mine. i'd go the 180 or 211 route if i could afford it or find one used at a decent price.

Yeah Bill got it, I was asking him a bunch of questions when I purchased it and the helmet, tank, etc.

Ross, Mark doesn't require a TIG. What, is he going to TIG foglight mounts onto his stock stamped front bumper on the Briarwood?
