I think I might have hit the rev limiter in my Jeep once, the entire time I've driven it, and that would have been at the snow run last January. I'm not even sure I hit it either.

underachiever. I hit limiter chasing billy in reverse. he deserved to be chased at a high speed in reverse, though so it's all good :gee:

i hit my rev limiter 30-40x consecutively on that run. you should get a 5spd...

I have an extra PDC I'll be using on the green Jeep in about 5 years when I get around to doing something to that one.

I want to use this on the woody, and I sure as hell don't want it to melt and cause a fire. I want to use this as a clean way to mount my fuses for my headlight harness.
I'll be using 12gauge wire for all the lights, and most likely 85/80w bulbs in the headlamps, and regular 55w bulbs in the fogs. What do you think I should use for fuses?

5 amps should do it for the fogs, 10 for the headlamps. Use I = P/V where V=12 (which results in the fuse being just a little overrated @ 13.8 volts, which is what you want so it only pops if there's an overload, not at normal load while you're driving)

EDIT - that's per lamp, so I guess you'd end up using all four positions in that block if you did that.

I'm glad you combined these two, it's the only logical thing to do.

It is now definitely time for me to go to sleep. Junkyard again in the morning... I think I'm just gonna go every morning this week. The guys at the desk asked me if I was ebaying the stuff again, I'm not sure how they think I would survive by ebaying a pair of rusty exploder spring pads and an oil pressure sender adapter every few days.
