rob i have similar plans, but im not as concerned with departure as approach angle, i think with the 40s and a 2" front stretch i can do prety good

and comp cut the rear and shorten it to just inside where the hatch is now

the plan is to shorten it but keep the body looking origanallish, should come out good i hope

oh im cutting mine behind the front seats and making a real frame in the back and plating the crap out of the front, this is of course after i get the tons in cuz i wanna wheel next summer not take 3 yrs off haha

yeah the big wheelin break sucked, wich was part of buildin the blue jeep since i wanted to wheel now not next year, but the blue jeep did give me great ideas for the green ones, also i gotta thank colin for helping me make the desition to go tons when he blew up his 30

yea i wont from 44 front and rear to 44/60 to 60/60 now i own a 60/14 bolt and im happy

i just dont wanna buy the tires. im gonna get as much done on the axles this winter as possible but working 70hrs a week is gonna get in the way

and they wont go in till i have the garage back in spring, then its on

i figuerd i could build a 60 for the same price as a 44 and have no worries on breakin shit, tires werent planned till spring but i couldnt pass up the deal with the 38's and SW's, next big things are getting it running and buyin that world map thingy. cant wait

im gonna be content with the 241 rock track for now, with 5.38s and 40s i should be all set.

when i find a lot of money maybe ill upgrade to the world map thingy. buut full hydro is gonna cost a pretty penny too in the end though i think ill be happy i did it right the frst time, and speaking of which i think my H1s shipped today

that shall be pretty good gearing wise, and yay! on the h1's shippin, i forgot to mention my rocker protection idea, i plan on takin 2" out of the bottom of the doors and addin 2x5 box tube, kinda like boats sides but with full doors

i havent figured much out beyond the axles and a 3 link front leaf rear yet, but i was toying with the idea of boatsides with a full skid to the frame then a nice belly skid to tie it all together

I think I might have hit the rev limiter in my Jeep once, the entire time I've driven it, and that would have been at the snow run last January. I'm not even sure I hit it either.

you did hit it then, i think i may even have a clip of it, i belive everyone hit it that day except for Mr. im gonna take it easy with my 60's
