Going to the dentist at 9. My mouth is KILLING me. I'm in so much pain. (wisdom teeth out LAST Monday). I am also trying to find a full time job today. Going to hit the industrial park. Then clean, throw shit away and organize my room. I used to live minimalistically which helped me out a lot. Now I just have a bunch of shit everywhere.

lol what's great is I called the dentist and went in yesterday. He cleaned out my gum holes and shot something into it. Then wrote me a script for vicadin. Which sucks. It works for 3-4 hours then the extreme pain comes back. I work up early because of the pain.

Man, that sucks. When I had my wisdom teeth out my dentist said "this may be hurting anywhere from one to three weeks". I was in a drugged up stupor that first day. The first night (drugs just wore off kinda, so I was coherent but still couldnt feel my mouth) I talked to my gf of the time. She mentioned she would come over my place and hang out since I would just be sitting around alone otherwise. She coudlnt get a ride over till noon and I offered to go pick her up earlier if she wanted. So my mother told me I couldn't drive to get her if I took my meds...
The next morning I popped 2 ibuprofin and never touched a painkiller again. Just didn't hurt. I had 2 badly impacted teeth and one that the Dentist had never (or very rarely) seen anything like it before. The tooth started growing... then looked like it just stopped still almost fully in the jaw bone or something like that. He told me I may be soar for a while due to that one :laugh: Oh well. I have had my dr. tell me that I have an absurdly high pain tolerance, never really believed it, looking back at some of the stupid **** I have done, maybe he was right

When I got my wisdom teeth out I got home took one pain pill passed out and woke up and ate bunch of food they told me not to and I was good. I got it done in highschool which I think is key.

I think I was 100% after 2-3 days tops. I was just annoyed getting blood all over the food I was trying to eat.

I think they'd look good but the black housing always scares me. I feel like it will have some effects on the beam and light out put.

EDIT: I think I might take the entire week after thanksgiving off and work on my jeep. Not sure. I still have two and a half weeks of vacation time to blow before new years and it looks like the house is getting put off till after that (wooooo short sales!)

Yeah... I didn't use any of the painkillers they gave me, and I was out of over the counter stuff... I went home and fell asleep for a long time because I was still pretty drugged up from getting it done, woke up to a dull ache that got worse if I clenched my jaw but that was about it. Lower two were badly impacted and crowded the teeth on my entire lower jaw, upper two I told them to XXXX off and leave them alone because they were just fine and two holes in my mouth was enough.

not to make him a guinea pig, but I'd wait and see how they perform in Justin's truck for the same reason as Keith said with the black housings being iffy. But I think they'll look good on your truck as long as the quality/fit n finish is decent

not me, I still got stock headlights!

I might take the whole week after thanksgiving off and work on my Jeep... I don't seem to be buying a house till after new years (lol short sales suck) and I gotta blow 2.5 weeks of vacation by then!

I think they are just more expensive e-bay pieces of crap like the "diamond cut" and black headlights for Jeeps. I would say let Justin get them and see how they are.

I have been tempted to take next Monday off, maybe Monday/Tuesday.. but I only have a week saved up right now and plan on taking time off in December so I want to save the time. As I have said before... I may just be able to work from home for those days in Dec, but I don't want to risk it and not have the vacation time to use should I need it.

I also love that if I accrue too much vaca time that it wont carry over from one year to the next, I can cash out rather than being forced to take time off.
