THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ps: jesus, you guys call me a post whore and just wrote 1.5 pages worth of posts while I was trying to reply to this :spin1:
Ya but you have over 2,000 posts in 4 months. It took most of us a few years to get to that point, some haven't even reached that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

True, though I was worrying about manual vs auto efficiency as well as gearing.

Again with the same axle gearing I would assume it would be around the same for highway. Usually a stick will get better mileage in the end when they have a little taller gearing which they can get away with due to having deeper gearing in the transmission.

Moves like a dog.

:D

come back when all 4's are more than 3 inches off the ground and we'll talk

Hmmmm. Gas mileage is a concern to me, but 5.13s and 31s getting 18mpg @ 65mph? I usually drive around 75-80mph (speed of traffic on 290 during rush hour, lol) so maybe 4.88s isn't too bad an idea...

Sam, was he running a manual or auto transmission?

auto

My Jeep is not familiar with them. Oh wait. Yeah. My jeep has bumpstops, they're called Bilsteins. :confused1

Hence wanting to figure something out and enlisting Colin :repair:

i used to rock those bumpstops, then one day my shocks decided to empty out all thier fluid in the driveway

I'm running an AW4, and I got close to 20 mpg driving down to RC anywhere between 65-80 mph.

4.88s, 35s, lockout hubs (don't know how much that helped but I'm sure it did).

No roof rack, stock bumpers, however 4 or 5 of some losers LTBs in the back :D

Haha will do. I'll figure it out, I gotta get that link from Sam again. I think they were on Jegs...?

I was just screwing around :laugh3: I mostly ignore the count (hell, till cmelo mentioned it I hadn't really thought about it too much), I get terminally bored at work while waiting for stuff to happen and keep seeing threads in oem/mod tech I know the answer to.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh yeah - Keith, I checked the junkyard for stuff this morning. Not a single unbroken pre-97 console latch  I swear there were a million there last time I went, I'll keep my eyes open.

EDIT: if you really get desparate (lol) part numbers are 55001299 through 55001301, you need one of each, looks like it'd cost you $22 at mopardiscountparts

whenever i had passengers in my 96 they could not figure out how to open the center console

they thought "oh u gotta lift up"

'NO YOU NEED TO PUSH THE BUTTON IN FIRST"

"ok...... im pushing the button in and its not working"

"PUSH THE BUTTON TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE JEEP, NOT UP WITH THE LID"

"ok it must be broken then"

then i open it with one swift movement.

most xj's i see have these latches broken on them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mine's not broken either, but the way I keep accidentally slamming it, it probably won't be long.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

in before "if you had a real transmission you wouldn't need to rest your arm on something! :D:D"
