I'm pretty much set with running 4.56's on 33x10.50 KM2's in the spring.
And for the center consol, it's not a big deal to me it's just one of those little pet peve things. I'm actually considering getting some strong magnets and gluing them to my center consol so it doesnt fly up when i bump my truck up something.

4.88s. Trust me.

I've not had my center console ever fly open while wheeling.

Well I hit my elbow and pick it up sometimes. It doesn't really bother me but what ever. The 4.56 vs 4.88 debate to me is hard. MY uncle's YJ is running 4.10's on 35s and tops out at 65 at 4k in 5th. So when I tell my dad I want to regear he says I'm stupid for wanted 4.56's on 33's. I guess I would have to go for a ride in both. Or better yet drive both.

when i first entered rcrocs they did a thorough check to ensure no pennies were on my floor or in my cupholder. he said if it hits me the right way in a rollover i could be knocked out.

fastforward 2 years later. i have learned to have nothing in my jeep, and when some other competitors roll over, so do their toolboxes and coolers and stuff.

MY uncle's YJ is running 4.10's on 35s and tops out at 65 at 4k in 5th. .

not with a 4.0 and aw4 or ax15

with 5.38's and 35's i top out at 97 at 4000 rpm

Yeah he has a 4.2 and he swapped the pukegoat tranny out with some other 5-speed but I forget what. Any one have 33's and 4.88's that'll give me a ride?

I don't know what 4.56's are like either. All I know is stock(but I forgot by now) and 31's on 3.55. And I know I hate 31's on 3.55.

4.88s and 35s are still not enough to me. I'd rather have 5.38s like Sam did.

Hmm maybe I will just go for 4.88's then. That way there if it is too (numerically) high, I can use it as an excuse for 34's or 35's.

I wish I could steal my dad's 33's from his YJ but They haven't been off in probably 6 years at least. I can't imagine how many studs I'd break. I'm now looking at TNT .5" UBE, 1.5" shackles, and either 1" spacer up front or just go with with a RE 4.5" spring. But I really need a new track bar and new links.

Since I requested my other ridiculous thread to be closed. I figured I'd ask here. Did my oil and my difs. I replaced the negative cable that goes from that bracket thing behind the alternator (not on the alternator) and my voltage gauge is showing power. YAY. But now my check gauge light is still on and it seems as though my temp gauge isn't moving. Lol am I going in circles or what here?
