from stoughton at rush hour? very well the best way could be looping around 128N to the pike east, since in my personal experience rush hour on 93 SUCKS. 138 will spit you through the ghet-to but nobody will XXXX with you in the honcho!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I went and checked out that blue limited I saw on Craigslist the other day.

Please feel free to flag this craigslist ad as many times as you all please. The ad is utter BS, and wasted a couple hours of my life.

http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/1259099580.html

One, it doesn't have heated seats like it says (I know, not a big deal, but they shouldn't have said it if it didn't have it), and the ad states "Paint looks outstanding." Half the paint is missing off the front bumper, there is an area the size of a baseball that doesn't have any paint on the drivers fender, and actually the edge of the fender right next to the door is split and rusting, and every single panel/door has scratches on it.
What made me mad was the paper they taped to the window printed off KBB stating the suggested retail price. They stated "Excellent" for the condition of the body for the quote. It says the suggest price should be in the $7K range, and I know some poor sap won't notice, and will believe it.

The paint (minus the rusted out rockers) on my 2 door is better than that.

Be weary of any car on craigslist that had to have it's picture taken while wet.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WTF? When was page 1000 hit? Where was I?

I just did the math, I was in class when it was hit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I am waiting on a possible deal to go thru for the 2dr I have and I'm going friggin nuts waitin to see if it finalizes. Unfortunately the kid is back and forth on trading but I got a email tonight that might finalize it, so I might be making a trip west this Sat.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mark, I know your looking to get something you dont have to do work to but I do know of a 00/01 XJ thats 2wd with a head gasket issue but you can get it for under a grand. Fix/replace motor and eventually make 4wd but it looks in good shape.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Would a long arm kit on a 3" lift be a bad idea? I eventually want to beef up my leaf pack and get new shackles for about 5" and put in some 4.5" coils with ACOS so I can run 33's. But I don't see anyone running or selling LA 3" lifts anywhere. Any reason?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, 3" is to low to run LAs. The stock control arms don't have enough angle on them to warrant the need for a change of mounting location. LA's on that small of a lift will more than likely interfere.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if i was to do it all over again with the blue jeep i would of gone to 4" and run longgarms, ill never run shortarms on a wheelin rig again
