Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yay, time for another fun filled day at work

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

carmelo is lurking again.... and you oughta come to the truckshow, sir :) I'll bring a few pieces of steel and you can pick what you need for your cab mount.

I usually leave the page open on my laptop at home but I was driving to work. I'm really tempted to go to the DWE show but I dont know, maybe.

In other news I popped the rear driveshaft in my Honcho this morning and drove to work. When I got to work I gathered my stuff up, locked the doors and went inside. Oh and this is in Brockton where I work 1 day a week instead of Quincy. So I'm inside looking outside our office window and see some guy. He looks in the bed then peeks inside. He then stands looking away from the truck with his back to the passenger door. Then turns around really quick, grabs the door handle and pushes on the button while tugging on the door a few times. It doesn't open so he starts to walk away. From there I walk outside and find the guy.

Me: HEY!!
Guy::wow:
Me: See all these cars here!?
Guy::wow:
Me: Ya, all these belong to people who work here so if you want to steal something from them we'll see you, so don't. OKAY!?
Guy:... no... no ...no
Me: YES... OKAY!?
Guy::wow:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I agree with Bob, for sure. My 400ex got stolen. Ever since then I've been a very sensitive person when it comes to thieves and how to handle those things. Sensitive meaning it XXXXing pisses me off to hear about it and if it were me, they would never have fared as well. haha. If I had found the person/people who took my 400... I don't even know. I shouldn't post on a public forum. But I was NOT happy when that happened haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yup. MINT too. I took better care of that thing than anything else I've ever owned. Just my luck that it's the one thing to dissapear.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sucks my lt250r has no key, just a kill switch, that any idiot can wire to get it running. it has no sprockets now tho, waiting on them to come in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

400s are super easy to bypass the ignition, idk about other stuff but i'm sure it's the same. Mine was in a locked shed within 30ish ft of my house and had a caliper lock on the rear axle. It was stolen on a Wednesday night in September '05 with everyone home. That's what pissed me off the most about it, is I was RIGHT there.

Whatever... It's in the past, and I had fun while I had it. Now I'm on to bigger n better, here with the Jeeps :firedevil

You should have called the cops on the d-bag and talked to him until they showed up.

Let me know what you do about the body mount...I messaged Liza about dropping it off with them sometime to see if Bob could fix my rear 2...but if you figure out a better way...

Give me a buzz.

First things first, you need to buy a body mount kit. Second, i'm going to cut a plate and drill it and bolt it onto my body, line it up and tack it in place. Then have Bob or Ross burn it in.

just waiting to hear back from BJ's Offroad...left them a message.

I'm trading some guy parts to patch up the spots on the bed and weld in my floors this weekend...so maybe I can have him check it out while he's at it.

Dont feel bad Travis a friend of mine had the same thing happen. The bastards went right in the garage while everyone was home, daytime, and stole his motorcycle. The front tire had a wheel lock on it too. Nobody saw or heard a thing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo, where in Brockton? I was stuck on Crescent st. in Brockton all day, watchin the lovely people walkin around.

I also posted in another chapters thread about how many XJs they've owned, I couldn't help and throw my number at them. I cant wait until they see I've owned roughly 45 XJs.

I bypassed the ignition on my quads....what's the point? If someone wants to take it, they will.
