97+ is 29-spline. 96 was a changeover year and could have either.

that means the shaft I have needs to be a 29 spline. but having pulled it out of my 96 I don't know wtf it it is...
grrr. Now I have to wait till i get home to know if i need to add that to my u-pull-it list.

yepppie, working on gettin the SBF prepped for dyno time. couple of trips to the hardware store and ive got everything bolted down and extra holes plugged. if all goes well, we'll bring the engine over today or tomorrow and hopefully get it running later this week. i cant wait to hear this b!tch scream!!!!
