THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my F350 needs a front bumper and I'm thinking about just building one the way I want it but I figure if I can find one cheap enough that looks good I might just buy it to save time. Well I'm looking around and find this one. How much do you think this cost? Oh and I'm talking not shipped, with no lights or winch.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

at least 2 grand.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and I know I'm usually a smart ass...but really. I'm guessing $2,000 ... A friend of mine looked into RoadArmor bumpers for his Cummins, and that looks something like the bumper he was looking at. Sick product but NOT worth the $$$

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm gonna say shipped, it would cost 900.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

oh well.

i just called sullivan steel to get a quote on some 2x6x.250 and some 2x2x.250

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just give your current wood bumper a coat of black paint and it'll be fine! put the $1000 into the buggy instead

how expensive is the paint you propose to use, to be left with only $1,000 extra for the buggy???

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sullivan has decent prices right now... i think i'm gonna get it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I look at my Jeep last night and the snap ring on my JJ has fallen out...what a PITA!

If I can't fix it i'm going to tack the snap ring to the shell...Not too impressed with Currie...first joint I buy has junk bushings, second one dosen't come with bushings and this joint was a wicked PITA to put together...

Damn you have had some bad luck with them...

I've never had a problem with them though? And my JJ is still holding up quite well considering the lack of grease I've given it :roflmao:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That bumper in the pic I posted is $2200 and change without shipping. I found another company that had it similar for $1500 but their base model of it is $600 with no add-ons but powder coated. I'm thinking I'll wait for alittle break in work and do my own. It may not be as pretty but it wont cost as much.

By the way Kyle I spent Sunday grinding and welding Sheeps 8.8 and its on its way to get the gears and locker in it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

after a weekend of wheelin 3 doors on my jeep no longer line up, i wonder how much longer before the jeep tacos

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

fixed the JJ...i guess the snap ring wasn't seated all the way. So I brought the joint to my auto parts guy and he used his press to allow room for snap ring to seat.

...does eyone have any pictures of tacoed Jeeps. I've seen the video where the guy with no doors twists his XJ instead of flexing but other than that i've seen none.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

thatguy86 has destroyed a few shells. ask billy where the evidence is...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so baystate offroad quoted me 500 for a 4.56 and aussie install in my d44... i think it sounds a bit steep but not outlandish, what do you guys say?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bob is the man. If I didn't know how to do gears, I'd go to him. Yes, you might be able to find some place cheaper, but Bob is the man. It's done once, it's done right.
