THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Got my 80 cu ft cylinder of shielding gas filled today, $34. I predict lots of welding this weekend. In fact, I may just go work on my bumper now.
I might be driving my dad's wrangler this weekend. I might need to be patching his frame.

wait... 7/8-14? you'd have to probably custom make that. you must mean 7/16, right?
7/8-14 is the size of the "1 ton" TRE's.

I just had an observation....

(And I'm not naming any names) but I think is pretty childish going around saying "my #### post" in the other open forums. You guys know who you are...

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves :o

Yes, please grab the tube while you are there.

You know, I've actually been looking at my drill and tap chart on my wall in my cube the past couple days, and I've been looking at the 7/8 areas in particular. I kept thinking that none of those, the UNC and UNF charts, looked like the correct thread pitch.

I should have know that though, I do have both left and right handed taps in that size.

Actually, I'm going to go take a look at my dad's boat first. He broke the valve off part of the draincock on the cooling system today, and he was trying to get me to look at it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so i got the knuckle and upper balljoint off of one side of my 4.10 axle. progress! too bad not much more today, but a friend dropped by for me to look at his exhaust since he failed inspection. he had a smooshed catalytic converter, and it was leaking at the dent. in a gallant.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

JB weld

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hell that might work. he doesn't really maintain the thing, and i'd fix it if i had car ramps and shit to get under it, but jacking normal cars is weird after the jeep. i can't just crawl under it!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i don't think JB weld reacts well to heat...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
