Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think someone should get me a copy of ProE for me to play with...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it's fine for actual modelling and i think for mass and stress stuff but doing engineering drawings, it ssuuuuuckss. screw around with solidworks, it's a lot easier to use. the only benefit to pro i've seen is that you can save to IGES files to load into ANSYS. that's it in my book

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have a copy at home too, you can find it if you know where to look :ssh:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have a copy of pro e and ansys with a school license. and i have a copy of matlab

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

going to run out and get the last bit more of consumables that i need for laying up carbon fiber and bamboo then getting to work :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i want to wheel.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i think anthony wants to wheel with people whose jeeps are on jackstands

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:wave1::D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

travis would be one that i'd like to wheel with, yes.

is anyone around the amherst area that's up for a quick run to the gutter?

(i probably shouldn't go there. for such a seemingly easy place i haven't heard of more stuff breaking there...)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i very well may have my jeep at least moving by the weekend! wh0000t

i ordered today a lubelocker for the d44 (everywhere is completely out of stock of d30 lubelockers), and a JKS HD tie rod for when i tackle the front end. 1.25 tube .375 wall should be PLENTY for what i tackle with for a tie rod!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anthony when do you move out to RI and start your new job down there?

you'll bend the tie rod end before you bend that tube.
