Hahaha gas mileage. I really stopped worrying about gas mileage when I started driving trucks but I did mileage the truck before while towing my Jeep on the trailer and it got 8mpg. Thats why Im getting these axles and Im swapping out the C6 for an AOD. Im guessing probably 10 mpg without the trailer.

what kind of mileage does your truck get? i think mine gets around 11 or 12, but i honestly have no idea since the gas gauge goes +/- a quarter tank depending on if i'm on a hilll or not, and the odometer doesn't work at all

HAHAHA, dont lie, that truck can probably only get double dight mileage going downhill and with wind at your back. for a 4hr round trip drive, id expect it to burn at least a full tank.

That can work. If anthony makes it to the meeting I might want to swap transmissions with him but I'm sure your black truck is huge enough that a tranny can fit in there along with 2 axles. Let me know by friday if you still need the ride.

the tranny is in grafton, i'm i amherst. you're welcome to stop by the house and grab it on your way to the meeting though.

i want to weld stuff to jeep. specifically unibody stiffeners...

ross, how much 1/4" plate are you going to have left over? i forsee myself experimenting with a grinder and welder with respect to my cross member when i do my unibody stiffeners...

x2. what did you end up using for led's billy?? did you open up the holes in the boxes or find ones that fit em?

i opened up the holes with a 4.5" hole saw. i used the same thing to put the reverse lights in the tailgate
