evil thoughts have been creeping into my head, so i jsut took the sawzal to the areas in question. i can now see down my rear framerails. i can already see the shackle mount cowering in fear of the teeth on the bi-metal blade, it knows its next!! looks like ill be making a trip to airgas to get a 10# spool of wire tomorrow, fill my oxy-acetylene tanks, and lowes to get some 1/4" plate.

I found in a box 2 new calipers, 3 297 joints, 2 headlights, set of sparkplugs and some other crap I total forgot I had got out of a cherokee I bought. Look at these so shiny.

i think after i eat i'm going to tear apart the d44 again to try to figure out why the drums dont fit on the passenger side. hopefully its something simple. the landlord actually fixed the lights int he basement so it might be acceptably lit without busting out the floodlights

i planned taking a 2x4 and shaping the bottom to fit the 30 when the time came, maybe a 2x5 or 2x6... whatever was the right height. i'm probably going to do a lot to it when the axle comes out for the WJ swap. might as well while it's out. only thing that sucks about the disco axle is the ...well... the uh... fact that it had a disco so sealing it blows.
