Well, I know what you're saying... but this one's pretty much entirely rotted as I understand it, except the back part of the cab, and it's going to the crusher... so just be glad I'm saving some of it Plus, on the bright side, mine's getting chopped MJ style so it will be a sort of reincarnation...

so i pretty much just woke up and read everything that was said when i was gone, but i'm too lazy to comment on a lot of it.
kyle, i have ansys on my own computer, and that's pretty much what i was going to do. the 3D model was created with pro-e and i was going to convert it to iges...
bill, yeah but oh well, i hate doing things twice, so you can imagine how much my gears iritated me...
so i pretty much just woke up and read everything that was said when i was gone, but i'm too lazy to comment on a lot of it.

Only back up for a quick second to get lunch and then headed back downstairs. Somehow you guys got me wondering what was going on in this thread, so I am wasting another 5min. Expect me to not answer after this, I'm shutting down my computer and throwing out the power cord. I can't have any more distractions. included.
Plans for today include working up the rear upper and lower mounts with the braces. I want to get everything tacked in place and measure for the arms.
Then due to the lack of snow.... I've got to clean up the back yard so from 2pm on will probably be chainsaw duty. That's ok, I enjoy that too!

haha I like the cologne comment...good stuff.
my xj is definitely rust free, but its been wheeled enough to have some good body damage... i don't feel bad chopping it. plus, i figure to keep it halfway decent, it's gonna need a cage...and at some point, i do want it chopped. so, if i cage a full bodied rig, then chop it later, i'll have to rework the cage and whatnot...i'm just cutting out that step and goin for the good stuff
...if anyone needs a non rusted roof, c, or d pillars, i'll have em free for the taking

So I drove the 2 door Jeep up to Boston last night. I experience 2 more small cases of death wobble and as I'm going, the brake pedal feels like its getting spongier and spongier, until I actually get into Boston when I"m pushing all the way to the ground to get brakes. It did brake once I got down far enough.
Got into the parking garage at school, found no fluid in the reservoir, and the right rear drum and inside of the tire were covered with brake fluid. Amazingly I had transferred all my tools that I carried around with me in the 4 door to the 2 door the night before when I was doing the tune up.
Sat in the parking garage for 45 minutes cause none of my friends up there were answering their phones.
Felt like sh*t, and had to get home. Poured a container of brake fluid in there, after a while it pretty much self bled, and I had a harder pedal again. Didn't matter much as I used the brakes only once the entire trip from Boston to my exit back at home.

Brake likes and Wheel cylinders are like 12 dollars...if it were me i'd consider myself lucky that either thing didn't blow all at once and cause an accident...
On a better note...after replacing my Alternator and 3 of my O2 sensors my MPG has gone from about 11 to almost 20.

mark, i have 2 wheel cyl's that just came off of mine when i did the disc conversion, they work great. yours if you want them.
