I thought he was only gonna get a 5spd

How much is he paying? That would've been pretty much perfect for us, mileage and price depending.

yeah he was going to. that was more travis and i pushing him into a 5spd hehe. price and time made the auto the choice. he paid 2300 and it has 170k on it. i would have forwarded this to you, but it was local to us and he needed a second vehicle today. i haven't given up on looking for you

Haha. Thanks, no worries. That is a decent price, plus he wins with the auto. ;)
We're kinda hoping for something with about half that mileage (or less). She's got something to drive now that will hopefully make it to the summer months. So we have plenty of time to find the perfect relatively low mileage one.

They almost don't.
We're not looking for something with 30K on it, but I'd like to stay under 90K if possible. 97-99 years only as well kinda chops the options too.

:eek: good luck. i got mine with 98k and i thought that was low.

Its sad cause mine has 94K on it (and only 10% of that on the engine).

I'm not opposed to something with higher mileage, but I won't be buying anything that has 150K+ unless I can get it for next to nothing.

I love the NV4500 in my XJ. The 6-speed in my Dodge ain't bad either.

But chicken ramen noodles for 30 cents each is a cup full of win. :) Just refilled my snack cabinet at work.

how hard is this to swap in? how expensive are they? i've been wanting a 6th gear for the highway...

the 6 spd is an NV5600 and not the NV4500

6th gear is virtually the same ratio as your 5th.

the dodge 6th ratio is .73

the ax-15 is .79

it has similar gearing to your ax-15 but with a granny gear
