Had fun earlier this evening. Smashed my finger pretty good in the door of the XJ when I slipped on ice. The door closed all the way and latched, with my finger still between it and the rear door. Ended up at the ER getting X-rays cause it was bending the wrong way... Apparently the bone is fine, just did what the doc is calling a "severely bad sprain."

I need to redo the stereo in the XJ now that it's back to DD status. Hadn't bothered when I was only wheeling it since I don't listen to it offroad.

Anyone got a pair of 10" subs and 6.5" surrounds they wanna donate? :cheers:

my XJ setup is a kenwood head unit powering the rear oem speakers, a rockford fosgate amp powering the pioneer speakers in front, and another rockford fosgate amp powering a memphis subwoofer in an XJpod enclosure

i always have to fught with the stupid button that supposed to open the face for access to the cd player

one of my rockford amps isn't working properly either. having them mounted under the seats prolly isn't the best idea since i sometimes wheel in water

one of my rockford amps isn't working properly...

could be worse... at least it's the one that powers the sub, so i still have full-range fronts and rears

In the XJ I run a Pioneer head unit, Polk Audio front speakers, stock in dash speakers, stock rear sound bar speakers (used to have Polks in boxes, but when I added the sound bar I left the stock ones in it and gave my bro the Polks for his '99 XJ), MA Audio mono sub amp, and used to have a matching MA Audio enclosure with dual 10" subs. They got swapped into my car once I stopped DD'ing the XJ.

I ended up with a truck box that fits perfectly under my harness bar, it just needs some 10"s. The stock rear speakers are pretty much junk now (go figure) so I'd like to replace them with 6.5"s. The front speakers are fine, but from taking the doors on and off the wiring has gotten worn out, so I need to rewire them.

alpine 5.25 in the doors and hatch, kenwood 12" sub with a craptastic lanzar amp that only works when it wants to, pioneer headunit, its better then hearing the rattling exhaust and blown rear shocks...

X2!! i just got back a few minutes ago. the pike was real slow since the snow is actually pretty heavy out there. are there any other pictures floating around or maybe some video?
