THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

even change your oil, have the seal come off the old filter, not notice, then start her up?:soapbox:

then, i went to change my diff fluid after that mess was cleaned up, and i couldn't get my cover off. i guess i did a real good job sealing it last time... i did pull the fill cap, and feel the fluid. unfortunately it's pretty fawkin shiny... i am to assume it shouldn't be thaaaat shiny after new gears, correct?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

At my current job, people are pretty dumb with oil changes. One time a kid did an oil change on a Camry and halfway through driving through our 200 foot shop the oil filter fell off and rolled away from the car...WHAT AN IDIOT!!! He said the filter was on all the way...UM, WRONG!!!

Same kid welded a cam to a head on an 04 Accord...

I wish I was like him...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yah, not with a welder though...with a lack of oil...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ummm, the car kinda did it to itself...

OH, and one of our techs changed a timing belt on a 03 Eclipse V6...can you say bent valves and a tow truck to the dealer...CHA CHING!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ouch

edit: i didn't see your post about the lack of oil... that would explain it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

SERIOUSLY, i'm gonna try that tomorrow on a customer's car!!! Who wants an oil change?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I still have my stock lowers somewhere, but I can't remember the condition of the bushings. If I had to guess, I'd say they weren't in very good condition. I'll find em though, and if they somehow are in good shape, they're all yours.
