so just to satisfy my curiosity why is it so hard to make dana 60's 35 spline? do they not sell a carried for the 35 spline?

you talking about rear 60 if so dont waste your time just go with a 14bolt or d70, but there are plenty of 35 spline lockers and what not for the 60 out there, you just must be lookin in all the wrong places

im only gonna run 37's theres no room for a 14 bolt i dont wanna drag over everthing i drive over. I know the 60's are more money but its gonna be the last set of axles the jeep sees, if i go bigger im gonna buy a YJ and buyyify it the jeep is staying full bodied except maybe for a rear chop

hmmm perhaps ill do a 70, if i stumble across a 14 bolt with 3.55s for a good deal imma buy it for the truck tho, it only sees DD and towing duty

im assuming theres a disk conversion for a 70?

ok, the seeing it coming only happened when I bought the tires... that I admit. But I definitely need spacers and lift unless I trim the fenders.

The spacers I need because I'm all of 3/16" from tearing a sidewall on a leaf clamp in the back (unless I get new rims) - the lift increase is because, well, I don't quite want to trim yet. Call me stupid but I'd rather leave the sheetmetal alone for now.

the amount of lift you have doesn't change the size of the wheel openings.

you will have to limit the suspension compression to keep the tires out of the fenders, the added lift just keeps em out of there at ride height, which is usually fine if you stick to street driving.

yeah... was worried about that. I figured I'd just keep it on the easy stuff when going off road and not beat on it too hard and hope for the best.
