i'd prefer not to, thanks...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

but do clarify, which rock that billy flopped on? there were 2...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I meant the spot where you came down.

id like to full-on assult the rock, get most of the way up, then have my front DS tire hit that smaller rock chillin out near the top, launch the front end skyward, flip backwards and roll towards the right.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I should sumo slam every one of you cuz the power of Rice-a-Roni has given me super strength enabling me to do things Carmelo would only dream about.

i may try that at FC, if not ill go one day after work, ive always wanted to do that trail backwards, theres some cool ledges to go up

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if anyone running the creek bed at the gutter has bfg's chances are they will slice one. i did, i know colin has killed at least a few there, before he had the big-boy tires...
Naw, Colin is just an idiot. I ran BFG A/T's before my Toyo's, and I ran the gutter, and I never sliced one on any trail.

I've actually seen more MT Claws sliced at the gutter than I have BFG's. (Friend with an XJ sliced 2 drivers fronts there)

The sad part is, I might agree with you here Mark. I think I ran the A/Ts too low for their liking. I had them at 12 psi for 33x12.5 on a 15x8.

I figured that was good but they just have too soft of a sidewall. I should have run them at like 16 psi.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

beadlocks and SXs...hip hip hooray! :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Agreed. If you don't mind your jeep potentially getting beat up a little bit and you're willing to listen to/trust your spotter, you'd be just fine. Like Colin said, there's go arounds for the harder stuff, you don't need to run all the big Jeep stuff right off the bat...IMO it's better to work your way up and watch the jeeps that are built more than yours as you go to get a feel for how people approach/deal with certain obstacles

x a million. I'm so glad I was able to first start wheeling 31s and just locked front to get a feel for it without getting in over my head.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mhmm :) Yeah, I think I'm much better off having started with pretty much the same. If I had 44s and 36s right off the bat, I don't think I'd be good/comfortable enough to use the setup as efficiently as I'm currently capable of...

maybe I'm just overconfident :gee: hahah
