THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Depends on what everyone else is doing honestly.

At least they are not doing it on a Friday or Saturday night this year. The 7th is Sunday which is better than a weekend evening.

O know the whole DWE crew is gonna be at a wedding. I'm kinda up in the air. Gotta figure out if I'm going to Indy the week before.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

dang. what motor and trans mounts are you running?

brown dogs and a crown trans mount thats maybe a year and a half old. Gonna order one of the stinky fab mounts soon and see if thats any better, and i'll update the build thread with pics of the crack later.

About to start swapping in the spare ax15 from old red jeep, hope the rain holds off.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

I need to do something about my wheel bearings on the drivers side it keeps loosening up. New hub bearings and nuts didn't help and I am properly torquing it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

On that EB44? Get stage 8s.
What are stage 8s? I'm sick of crying changing only one side. Are they a better locknut? Also scored a 79 ford 9 so I plan to cut it down eb length and go 31 spline chromolly shafts .

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Got the trannys swapped, feels awesome except for the unbalanced driveshaft. Swear to ****ing god if that didn't fix this leak and/or I blow something else up in a week and need to drop the crossmember AGAIN im just gonna let it sit till rocktoberfest or something. This months been exhausting.

Mine loosened up twice. The spindle was just too worn out.

edit: first

X2. I never had any issues with mine. Are you sure you're putting it on correctly and the nuts/lock washers aren't damaged?

Sam said it, installer error :shhh:

And you said it yourself, the spindle was too worn. Not an issue with the nut.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

The only time I ever found an issue with mine loosening was when the little tit on the washer was worn down too far.

Other than that I've never had an issue.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Adam had a real bad stomachache on Weds, yesterday afternoon went to the hospital and a few hours later had his appendix removed. He's doing fine and scheduled to be discharged today.
