Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

speaking of Rockauto, anyone ever done a core return through them?

Normally wouldn't consider it, but calipers for my 8.8 are nearly half the price of the box store remans

Do they send postage prepaid? I'd doubt it, but that would be nice . . .

nah you have to pay postage

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I feel like Begster.

A simple tire change on my father's truck turned into a broken tailgate on mine.

Who has the best affordable bender on the market?

I was trying to be all cool in front of Robbie Racecar and Jubilant Johnny. :dunce:

Nah, but really best I can figure it the cups that the tailgate ride in on the bottom the pass side one was pretty badly rusted and deformed. That was causing the striker bolt at the top to bend out of shape. Combine that with a sticky latch from road grim and yeah, half latched tailgate.

I just took everything apart and ordered all new stuff that I couldn't save for $28.10. Just a pain in the butt is all. Thankfully the only rusted part was those cups.

FYI If the tailgate fell out I wasn't stopping, but I would of told you where it was via snap chat

I've used M1 twice, on two different cars. Never impressed me either time. I use Rotella T6 in everything I can, if it's some luxury euro spec car that requires light oil I tell people to get something like motul or red line.

M1 euro spec is way cheaper, $28 for 5 quart jug at wally world, and I'm changing at half the interval (7500 miles), so I think I'm safe. May do the Blackstone test in the future though. What was your issue with M1?
