Just make it so that you can't join until you've bought something from Olympus... No one will buy because they are all too cheap, you kick them all out, the group dies. You win.

Not sure what they make them out of, but I'm not really worried about it, at least for the center joint.

The axle drive splines are bored right into the wheel flange itself so rather than have a drive slug, they shorten and simplify the whole package. That lets them use different (and serviceable) bearings inside with a different sealing design, they have left/right threaded spindle nuts depending on which side of the truck it goes on...

Functionally the difference results in a life span of seasons vs. races. Just a much better, more carefully crafted part overall.

I think I'm still leaning towards the 806x option though, mostly because a D44-sized CV ball will look dumb floating in a D50/SuperDuty 60 size spot. :dunce:

I saw this nifty setup in the junkyard... 8 lug TTB thing, it has 30 or 35 spline inners or something on it from the factory and is even made by the same company as your donor. Maybe you could put it on your rig? :anon:

(yeah I know, it's heavier and shit.)

I will, but you don't want me running that place. I would probably ban anyone who said something stupid and it'd end up with like 1/5th the people on it.

Unfortunately after reviewing your application I feel you are not suited for the job.

I'm gaining more and more responsibilities online and just have to simplify my internet life a bit. I won't have any personal use for that group soon but instead of shutting it down It would be nice to see someone keep it going. I just fear asking for an admin on the page for obvious reasons lol.

I just have to say ken is on a ****ing roll. I think every comment for the past 2 or so weeks has been pure gold.
