THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The car should be half parted out and 100% full of hate.

I'm pretty sure the offroad trading post is just a place to watch retards attempting to communicate now. Fortunately it's got plenty of retards attempting to do plenty of communicating.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

find fertilizer place, buy rock dust.

I've got a 40-gallon can of coal ash that'll do just fine. The filter in my vacuum doesn't even notice this stuff is going past it.

It works great as a traction aid in the snow, and is used in making concrete for roads & precast stuff because it promotes bonding and adhesion.

I'll save some for ya :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bring it north sometime in the next week and I'll dump a bunch in the trans, then do burnouts till it explodes right before I push it into the shop and put a real transmission in it :eyes:

(except I bet it'd keep running just fine and end up driving into the shop on its own power...)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

thanks bill.

now can you open it again so I can sell the rest of my jeep. the full hydro already sold a week ago.

also the hydro alone bought me a whole running xj with little rust.

Sure once you drop a zero off the end of the tcase price, I will even come get it tonight.

:greensmok

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We need a picture of an uglier rat, and a shittier car.

This man knows how to start a race team! Wanna be my portapotty crew chief? We're going to turn trash trucks into ultra 4 buggies by painting a number on the side and then cutting the floor out under the accelerator pedal so they're faster.

Buy the chassis from my MJ and you won't even have to cut the floor out, it's been gone for years.

And it's already got your name on the side, too!

So sorry about your fuel sender, dude :(

Seriously, if it needs one, start getting friendly with the SEC/RRC/PNW/CO/SoCal guys... basically anywhere there isn't rust. That sender is pure unobtainium, they're somewhat harder to find around here than MJ senders. Parts houses will happily sell you one for several hundred dollars, but it will be a 91-95 unit and won't work for you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Stefan is gonna be almost as cool as Rob used to be.

cant I just swap in a 95 gastank?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There's something electrically special about the 96 fuel level sender, I forget exactly what. It's 3-4 wires just for the sender, the old ones are one wire plus a shared ground for the sender and the new ones are 2 wires for the sender.

The gas tank is the same as 95 down.

If you swapped in a 95 gas tank, you'd want the fuel lines and fuel rail + vacuum FPR as well. The whole issue is because 96 is a stupid half year between the old OBD1 design and the new OBD2 design.

On mine, I ended up putting a 97 up fuel tank in, made it work, my fuel gauge just never worked right again.
