x2. Glad I got my timer setup for my truck. Now it only takes about 5 minutes to get the heat going instead of the usual 15-20. This morning was like 10º out.

I have Friday off this week so I'm going to go to Scott's friend over in Hudson to see if he'll pass my truck without an e-brake. Worst case is I have to spend some more time trying to get the stupid thing to work.

You register your truck in NH yet? I know of a guy that would probably pass it (if he's still doing inspections).

Yup. I registered it the day we closed because my MA registration was expiring and I had another MA insurance bill coming in so I wanted to cancel all that shit immediately.

Yeah I'm just gonna go to Scott's buddy and see if he'll do it. I'm sure it will be fine. I keep telling myself I'll fix it, but I wasted an entire weekend trying to get the stupid thing to work.

The Dorman cables I bought sucked so I'm going to try some Wagner ones and also replacing the front and intermediate ones and throwing some new shoes on.

Barring that, I'm ready to throw on a driveline e-brake or some shit.

Jesus ****. The parking brake on my truck hasn't worked in the 6 years and 200,000+ miles I've owned it. That sounds like way too much work.

When I had it working with the old drum brake axle it was awesome to have it. Hell, the thing would hold my truck and the loaded trailer on a slight incline and I didn't worry about it one bit.

Now the pedal is stupid stiff and I can barely get the thing to hold the weight of the truck on an incline.
