THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There's nothing I hate more than pressure washing 100 lbs worth of clay mud off of my Jeep.

And then having to clean up from a rainy weekend of camping.

My jeep still isn't totally clean. And my truck needs a serious bath.
More importantly...
Did you win?

You're kidding right?

Fastest lap time I think was Miller again with a 22 minute lap.

My first lap was 33 minutes. Second was 37 with a fuel stop.

Hopefully I can shave off some more time with the linked/coilover'd rear and see if I have any funds for better steering. It's like rowing a boat right now through the trees.

The course was super tight and littered with rocks just big enough to be annoying and have to slow down for (at least in my case).

Everything was going great until the third lap when we didn't notice the volt gauge plummeting. Voltage regulator plug popped off and it died. Hiked back to the pits and grabbed a jumpbox and hiked back out. Finished the third lap in time for them to call it.

Being able to race down the full length of the drag was pretty sweet. I was hitting the middle of fourth gear by the time I had to start braking. Probably somewhere around 50 mph.

The I80 stretch was sick, but sketchy with slow steering. Especially when it started raining after we got the thing running again. I had no problem running down it around 35-40 mph before the thing died. After the rain started I wasn't confident enough to go above 25-30.

Issues:
- RCI fuel cell is now leaking at all 4 corners
- Front frame side bumpstop mounts starting to pull from the frame (going to brace the underside back to the underside of the frame to help this)
- Front passenger caliper lost those little rubber block things that hold it in place
- H2 wheels are taking a serious beating
- Might have a small hole in one of my tires, not sure yet. Could just be the bead leaking
- Dipstick still popping out. Might drop the pan for a fourth time and weld on a new bung/get a lokar locking dipstick.

It's two V shaped metal pieces with rubber inbetween them.

I guess they're called caliper pins?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Doubtful. I can't spend $60 to camp one night and not wheel. If I can sneak in Saturday or Sunday morning and wander around for the day I might show up.

if you for serious cant spend the money im sure a few of us can toss 5-10 dollars each together for you. i would.

so come.

$3 a day will really cut into my internet tentacle porn budget...

I'm going anyway. Don't you worry. What else am I gonna do? Sit at home and make fun of pictures rob uploads to Facebook? Way more fun doing that in person.

Advice from the weekend, when you go to throw a 1/2" ratchet don't throw it at a tire, it will get thrown back at your lip.

Kieth just save $20 out of each check and your good. Or just sell gta5

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's extremely doubtful that I can in fact afford that, but we'll see. That is two paychecks from now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

For $60 I can feed myself for a week and a half. I don't have any vacation time so I can't go until Friday night at the earliest so it's not really worth it to me if I'm not wheeling.
