Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Chrysler is buying every grand cherokee owner a free rear end upgrade, if their individual inspections deem necessary

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've driven to southern NJ for a $150 set of 25% tread tires :gee: don't sweat it, if you end up needing it, say the word and I'll deliver.

You could drop it off at my place or meet up here, save you both 4 hours of driving......plus I want an 8.8 too

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Psh if that's all I have to do to get one...

Just finished loading/prepping with Danny Richard Program for the night. All that's left to do tomorrow is throw some shit in the truck and skedaddle. We were having a bitch of a time with the Jeep on the trailer, we couldn't get it far enough forward to get the fender off of the right rear tire. It turns out that even though they are all labeled at 205/75D14's, that tire was at least an inch bigger. We swapped the spare on and BOOM let's go to PA kids.

ha. gotta love the shit I own :D

I guess your jeep is really a pig, because since getting those tires about a year ago I haven't had any problemo. Glad it's all set tho duder

Would I be stupid for trading a Dana 30 for a set of 79 44/9?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

kinda, because you can get junkyard replacement parts cheap and easy for a 30, not so much for a 44/9 inch from 40 years ago. This is why I've been running a 30 for so long... ordering new parts and scouring forums every time I blow something up isn't in my budget and I don't like waiting.

8" lift can only fit up to 35" tire, am i doing somthing wrong

I think your right.
And for 33s it would be retarded over kill. Even if I went to 35s I think I could survive with the 30

Don't listen to ken, parts are still available, maybe not in the junkyard, but its not a hassle to get them. Make the trade, buy another 30 to run, and either build the axles as you can, or sell them and make money
Edit: if its a f150/bronco d44, its not worth building, but you can still sell it, and you can build a nice 9" for dirt cheap

Dude, he's posted about making minimum wage. I know I sure as hell wouldn't try and build a jeep on a 44/9 making that kind of money. If the whole point is to trade stuff around and never put them in the jeep, I completely agree with making the trade, because you can sell either one of those axles for no less than what a 30 goes for at the JY very easily, if you feel like sitting on them till the right buyer comes along instead of flipping them fast, a lot more.
