THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finish the tubework, bang out the front coil/shock mounts, fix the rear shock mounts/bumpstops, and if I have time build a new PS reservoir mount over the engine instead of off to the side.

Those are all I really need to be ready for the 20th. I need door bars, window net mounts, and some other small shit to be ready for the race.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I bought a 47uF 50V electrolytic polarized capacitor.

Fixed all the noise, AFR is rock solid, and all sensor inputs are MUCH more crisp.

SO HAPPY to finally be done with that.
awesome. Glad I was wrong about that :laugh3:

Colin, remember Jonesy from Line Mountain? Bright green rig with a pontiac grille, 4.3 V6, fast as hell? Wayne and I did shock tuning for him today and he went from being fast and completely all over the place to fast and driving with two fingers.

I don't know how much speed he'll pick up at the races, but it'll certainly be easier on both the truck and driver, meaning less breakage and driver fatigue. Something that's sometimes overlooked in the bigger picture.

It's ****ing cold and windy here, and raining most of tomorrow. Saturday's race should be awesome though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just got back from work. I hate working in the palisades mall. they want everything done but wont let you do anything.
for example they want us to put up a partition to block off the store so the mall stays looking clean and stuff. but we cant fasten the wall to anything because we cant damage the floor. which if anyone it familiar with the palisades mall the floor is just poured concrete and is cracked and chipped to shit. with paint stains all over it.

we put one little scratch in the floor and the mall rep was flipping out.

oh and first

That's badass. I think I remember that rig/dude.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I saw some kind of Audi today with the front bumper gone and a rather large intercooler and plumbing in it's place.

Because race car.

That was for the passenger seat mounted toilet system. because race cars tend to scare the shit out of the passengers.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm so pumped to FINALLY be able to accurately tune my engine.

On the 20th I'll use the live self-tuning fuel table to set that up and work with the accel enrichments as much as I can. Probably datalog from cold start and try to fix the warmup enrichment.

For the race, I'm gonna see if I can ziptie my phone somewhere and datalog with the bluetooth device. Then I can run the datalog file through the logviewer and finetune the fuel table and workout any other kinks I might have.

Not that I had any idea what I was talking about, but I like when you were telling me about your interference problems I was like "can't you just jam a capacitor in there and it will fix it?" and it did.

 I remember that. I knew at the time that that would fix it, I just wasn't sure WHERE it had to go.

People were saying they used large stereo capacitors inline with the 12V feed to the MS, but I didn't want to have ANOTHER external device to worry about.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

bored as shit, thinkin about going and getting drill bits and center pins to install these lift blocks
