THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I swapped my fourth fuel pump in the Honcho. It ran weird, looked at my sweet see through fuel filter, it's pumping out pure yogurt. ****ing hilarious. I pulled another spare pump today just for when it dies driving in and out of the shop.

What pump setup are you using that you have that many going through the shop?

Also, any more ZJ's lately?

Yeah Fartsmello, if you get a ZJ with black leather seats I want the rears plz.

And tell your Dad if comes to get these Jeeps I'll take $100 each and he can keep the rest, if that makes it worth it for him.

How much are you gonna notch the oil pan or are you gonna do a Ross style lift on it?

Ken, how would I get anything done without you? I mean, really, I never even thought to check for any clearance issues before I spent hours welding all those brackets on. Man, maybe I should do that next time, but for now I guess I'll just bash my oil pan into oblivion every time I hit a speedbump.

I'm patronizing you by the way. It has over an inch of clearance on all sides at full bump.

I never would have caught on. I had no idea you had any clue how to weld or fabricate.

I can't believe you'd challenge someone like that, especially a person who has the highest amount of respect for your fab skills.
I only fabricate things on other people's vehicles. Mine I just beat into the ground.

Over a billion different chevys use the same pump.

Not currently, but there's an xj.

Just puttin it out there... but my truss had about 1.5 inches of clearance at full bump and it still smashed my oil pan and bearing cradle... im guessing bumpstop compression, motor mount compression, and even some unibody movement.

Dude, we talked about this. I told you to call Ken before you welded anything on, and that you probably wanted to let him do all your welding. Good thing you just went ahead and did it like an idiot.

Hmm, good to know. I have no plans to jump mine 20+ feet on a regular basis though, so hopefully it won't see the abuse yours did. EDIT: And I'm running badasssss IronMan HD motor mounts, no movement there:puke:

I cant wait to put dumb shib in those holes in the truss!

and are you really going to run a sway bar?

I'm running a swaybar because I want to keep it tolerable, hopefully even pleasant, to drive on the street. ZJ's get a TON of body roll when they're lifted and not running any swaybars, so **** that noise. I may try a WJ bar up front actually, they're supposed to be a little stiffer.

Those holes will be just filled with dildos

Those are only 1.75"- too small for any of Pat's collection.

Both of these statements are 100% accurate.
