Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yes and you're not going to do what you did last year!

You don't come this year ill never forgive you, you won't even give u a drunk dial
It's going to be a week before decision whether I go or not. I wont preregister for that reason. Would I like to go? Yes. am I going to try like hell? Yes. We'll see.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you can make it as far as my place I got a seat for you. No idea if the mj will be wheeling this year though, I have a lot of things to fix on it.

And I really need to turn the old bed into a trailer so I can truly bring an entire jeep worth of spare parts with me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's not driving down there that's the issue. If my Jeep isn't up for it I would take my Honda without a second thought. My issue is schedule and money for admission to RC.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I drove almost exactly 350 miles from my house to applebees in aberdeen, MD without stopping, even to pee or gas up. I riskily chose to go through nyc but it paid off. I think it was the day and time I chose, but there was little to no traffic.

And there is yeungling here. I'll bring a case home for those that want it. Who wants it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You can get it anywhere in ct also, I grabbed black and tan just outside of Hartford Friday

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was at my parent's house last night/today. Took a stroll into my backyard to look at my Jeeps, they looked pretty depressing just sitting around, with Rob's old Jeep just sitting there leaking fluid all over the place, and my Green one all dented up with one stock size tire and one flat tire on the same side.

If only I had time, and money, and facilities to work in close to me.

I actually did not enjoy looking at the Briarwood in the garage. Honestly crossed my mind to actually sell it. (And no, I won't be selling it to any of you guys for dirt cheap, nothing less than 2K for it on the lowest end)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mark, still looking for a scrambler project? buddy of mine might have just got his hands on another to sell.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

or just stop caring, it's a damn jeep, aren't they supposed to leak?

all kidding aside, you need to find a way to move the jeeps closer to you so you can actually work on them. I know parking and garage space in Boston is nuts, but maybe a place ~30 minutes away with actual work and parking space wouldn't cost much? And now that you have a reliable DD, you can always find a way to get there.

Fortunately I only have (at maximum) 3.5 weeks till I will be at home at least 4-5 days a week to work on my jeeps in the evenings. This whole long distance thing does not work, I'm going nuts. I think I'll fix the blue MJ, then the 98, then maybe the white MJ, and then start working on the 5-ton again. Why do I always seem to end up doing motor work on that thing in the dead of winter? :laugh2:

I think the alternator in the MJ finally quit today while I was driving it. Volt gauge is at 12 (normally hangs at 14), check engine light came on, and the headlights were pretty dim. I probably crammed some mud/ice/gross shit into it while puttering around on the dirt roads last night.

Hmmmmmm, I really shouldn't. I really really really shouldn't.

But condition and price? Possibly any pictures?

Not supposed to leak probably half the contents of the tranny into the bucket underneath it though.

Honestly, for that I'd rather spend that extra half hour per trip to just go home where I'm not paying to keep it there, and can get some free meals out of it.

I also do not plan on spending all my time working on it. I have much better plans this summer, to include scuba and the beach. (I know you guys don't like the beach, but I do so you can eff off :D)
