Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just carried a spare and some coolant until mine miraculously stopped leaking again.

never did replace it, I swapped the motor instead... no idea why it stopped.

Better been doing something worthwhile.

I might be able to swing up.
Really it is pretty easy. Just take the outputs and run them back into the resi and slowly move the pushrod (I used a philips screwdriver) in and out until there are no bubbles. Takes only a few minutes.

actually sounds simple, now what im i supose to lenthen or shoten for the ram mc swap?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Don't even need to bring the outputs back up.

Just push it almost all the way in, then cover the ports with your fingers and release the pressure. Once its all the way back out, let off with your fingers.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Last time I did a bench bleed, I just put my thumb on the piston and fingers on the mounting ears, filled the reservoir, held it level and rotated so that the flare ports were at the top of the cylinder, then pushed the piston in slowly a few times. Then connected it to the truck with the lines finger tight, bolted it up, and snugged the line down.

Might not be orthodox but it worked great.

add it to the list of things Anthony would make fun of me for:
Maybe on paper the end result is 'right.' The processes he uses tend to be somewhat unorthodox, aka totally ghetto.

:spin1:

Lengthen. Buy a 3" or 3-1/2", 1/4"-28 bolt, IIRC. You need to trim down a little after the head is removed.

I guess I made things hard... of course not really as it is all of 3 sec to route the tubes up in and then there isn't brake fluid all over my vise.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
