...I also liked that the wiki says only 36.6% of people who live there are actually Angorran. I guess that it's a small place so maybe that's expected but :dunno:
I did the same wiki search and was going to post that they speak Catalan but got delayed mid post when I got a rush of emails...

So the customer uses thermal chambers to test our drives from -10C to 60C before shipping them in their systems. For a while we were seeing hot spots in certain areas of the cambers due to airflow restrictions and such, which resulted in the drive seeing out-of-spec temperatures.
To alleviate this the customer made some changes to these chambers to help redirect airflow and equalize the temperature throughout the entire chamber... They decided to call the changes they made the "iron curtain".

I saw some of you guys posted in Action Fab's thread about the steering brace.
I have this that obviously isn't gonna get used anymore:

The bearing was $44 and I did the machining of the tall hex nut myself. If someone wants to take this and run with it, I'd be glad to get rid of it cheap...just wanna see it go to good use. I believe it'll work on an XJ or a Durango box; the nut is the same 1-5/16" size.

The thinking at the time was you could build a bar that would bolt across to the factory front swaybar mounts, and just weld/bolt a flat plate onto that that would capture the bearing.

Chris - you might know of something for this. I need to decode the output from a quadrature encoder and preferably would be feeding the signal direct to a PC / embedded system via i2c, SPI, or USB. Know of any off the shelf products for this? off the shelf angle sensors that decode straight from input shaft to i2c/spi/usb are also cool.

Can't decide if I'm going to put some time into the Jeep tonight or take the night off and drink beer and watch hockey.
Maybe I'll just start it up and let it idle for a while as I check for any obvious leaks tonight and put the rest off until tomorrow

I was going to stay at work until 4:30 but I might have to leave sooner. Some schmo 2 cubes down from me either has his headphones on loud enough that I can hear them from here or has his headphones in his ears but they aren't plugged in and I'm hearing his shitty laptop speakers. Idk what he is watching but it's pissing me off.
