Eh, it's something that I know the bar will have on when I go for half price apps on Thurs night. If the game isn't on then god knows what the bar will have on (or people may start using the juke box thing which can be hit or miss).
Plus classes start at the local college that day so it's a good excuse to go out
Figures that now that I spent a large chunk of my savings on this OUI BS I find a couple houses in the Brookfield/southbridge area that I'm interested in. Time to stop spending money on shit and just save as fast as possible.

We lost one leg of power so we don't have 220v and half of out outlets don't work. I have to turn the generator on to take a shower and poor a bucket of water in the toilet to poop, or poop outside. I can't even get into my garage because there's no power going out there and all the doors are locked from the inside. :rattle:

This weekend or next weekend? I took yesterday off so I have 2 3-day weekends in a row but I am a bit tempted to take next Tuesday off too. Might see if my boss has a problem with that and try to take care of the car alignment and stuff then.
I'm aiming to have the steering box rebuilt and installed and to have the PS pump pulled, pulley swapped, and re-installed before the weekend. Maybe tear off the steering, chop off the track bar mount, and get the high steer installed over the weekend though we do have a big family party from Sat through Mon so I'm not sure that I will be able to work on the Jeep much.

So next weekend is labor day weekend and it's time to spend a bit more money than usual to increase my scotch/whiskey selection. I need to decide what bottles of whisk(e)y to buy.
I already have Laphroaig QC, Talisker 18, and glenfiddich snow phoenix. I'm thinking I will be picking up a bottle of Makers 46. So any scotch/whiskey fans... any recommendations?

There will be plenty of beer on hand as well, so no worries there. I just want to use this weekend as an excuse to expand my whisky selection a bit. I already used the hurricane as an excuse but figured I might as well do it the right way and go 2 weekends in a row.

I wonder how the stonework I did on my foundation last night turned out. I should check on that... mixed the mortar a little too runny I think but it should be OK.
put the money in the house or the jeep, at least they are depreciating assets that last longer than next morning :spin1:

Eh, a bottle of scotch can last me quite a while and it's quite enjoyable. I'll gladly drop some money into a bottle here and there. I also have someone lined up to buy some tires off me (whenever he shows up) so that will put some cash in my pocket that will be sent on the Jeep.
