also, the only appliances that are going to risk damage are ones that require 220V. 120V equipment will be fine so long as it is on the side of the panel that still has power (if it's on the other side it obviously just won't have any power.) Sounds like the transformer powering your neighborhood dropped a leg.

And that's what we were thinking. They said it's fine now so I turned the breaker back on and will wait to see if it goes out again.

We lost power from 11am til 4am. 3 streets away at work, they still had power.

Looks like I need to find me a chain saw to clean up the back yard. Big arse trees down all over the place.

Yeah, I called a little bit ago and talked to the same person I ordered from. He said they show as in stock so he's not sure if they shipped yet or not. He'll look into it and call me back. Im guessing they got shipped but the tracking # email just never got sent. No big deal as long as I get them by early next week.

My parents say they go places like the cape on vacation to get out of the house so they don't worry themselves with work around the house and so they don't have people asking favors of them since they are 'just around and relaxing on vacation not doing anything'

I took a vacation day today so I could run errands in the morning and relax/work on the Jeep in the afternoon.

Ever since last night (before I even knew how long the errands would take) my folks have been pressuring me to spend most of my day driving my kid brother back to school in CT.

Guess I should have gone somewhere for my vacation so they couldn't bug me. :smsoap:

I like this idea but isn't KOU this weekend? I'm probably only showing up for the one day we're racing because I don't have time to spend a whole weekend on wheeling right now.

I've never been there when there wasn't. Hell a few months ago when I went with someone (I think it was billy and jay? not sure, you might have been there) there was one with 4.10s and LSD just sitting there waiting to be taken, not even bolted in. I was seriously tempted to buy it and toss it on CL but it was hot as balls and I didn't feel like carrying or loading it.

EDIT: they are 130 iirc.

I may pull 1 or 2 for 130 bucks. Denny wants to go out there too and look around.

Hell with it, I'll be there Saturday then. I'm thinking I will bring my high-lift, sawzall if I can find the battery charger, and my bolt cutters.

Word on the street is that they lost a main grid and gaint powerlines in my area. They said it could take 7-10 days to get power back. The town and patriot place is trying to figure if they have to cancel the pats pregame thursday

I sure as hell hope they don't.

Just got home from dropping my brother off at school. Sometimes I really wish I was still going back to college. This is one of those times.

And damn the cops are out all over the place today. I took 495 to 90 to 84 to get to CT and must have passed 4 speed traps, a handful of cars already pulled over, and seen another 5+ troopers on the highway.
