im not allowed to drink at all before driving for 6 months after my sentence im pretty sure.

I'm pretty sure that's what mine is too but 1 year in MA? Ouch. Oh well, guess I will just continue saving money by being DD or having someone else drive and continue getting exercise by biking/walking to/from friends' houses. Either that or I will buy my own house 50+ miles away from everyone I know and tell them to come to my house :thumbup:

i pretty much agree. but what if i went to dinner, sat for 2 hours, ate a meal, and had two 16oz beers? then drove home. would you oppose of this?

Eventually I may have a few but ONLY if I am at a day long event and have the equivalent of one beer every two hours or something like that, plus food, plenty of water, etc. Aka I will only have more than two if I know I have given myself plenty of time to work the first two beers off completely.

honestly, i've cut down my drinking a ton. but i enjoy a cold glass of brew with dinner... i dont drink soda. i plan on meeting friends out tonight but i dont plan on drinking.

ever since ive seen some friends get XXXXed i drink less. except at 99 the other night when that asshole got us the meganormous beers after i wanted the $1.99 beers.

if i have to drive i usually have 3 beers max and i get heavier beers now so i dont drink them as fast

Absolutely don't need to. The vast majority of days/meals I don't drink regardless of whether I am eating at home or not. I just do love beer and if my friends and I go out for a burger or wings at the bar I like to grab a beer with them.

That's all there is to it for me. Don't need it but if it goes well with my dinner I would definitely like one.

I don't always plan on drinking and getting XXXXed up, but a nice cold brew is certainly enjoyable. I can limit myself to just 1 or 2 beers, some people like getting trashed every time they drink.

The other thing I like doing sometimes is starting my dinner off with a manhattan or a glass of whisky while we order. Then once that is gone I will just finish off dinner with a glass of water.

Light beers go terrible with food, full flavor beers go down much smoother and enjoyable (Blue Moon, Shock Top, Sam Adams)

yeah, im doing it wrong then. Ive had sam adams before i forget what kind. and shock top. thats it though. i drink mostly bud light/miller light/corona/and a bunch more shitty beers.

i only drink in social situations.

very rarely do i drink alone. it happened maybe twice and it was only a beer or 2

When I'm at work I get the desire to play video games once in a while. By the time I get home I have no interest. Damnit work.
