Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If I have more than $2 in my pocket I feel like i'm the shit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You can get a large fountain drink and bag of chips with that kind of cash. Having 2 bucks kicks ass.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have years of lame jobs that funded a 3 year exploding honcho adventure. No regrets.
Details? What went :explosion?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I would imagine you can buy just about anything with 2 dollars if you think about it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The next jeep I build will definitely be 2 dollars worth. It's gonna be sick I can't wait. It's going to blow your mind.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Glad to give you some good news? :laugh3:

FWIW: yours may be different... I heard they can range anywhere from $300-$1000 or something like that.

No clue if the fine for reinstatement after declining a breathalyzer is higher or lower than what I paid. And, if you get a 'not guilty' ruling, I'm not sure if that will effect the fine either.

man you guys are making me feel better about myself....
x2 kinda.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I got thinking the other day, (and I know you guys who were at the 99 heard me talking about it) I'm thinking more and more about abandoning my idea of chopping the green Jeep, and just scrapping it and building Rob's old Jeep like I originally bought it for. I don't have the time to chop it (let alone build another Jeep, so its going to be a while) and I know it will just be a lot easier driving around with a fully enclosed Jeep, that is somewhat impervious to weather. (Rob, I've had huge puddles in the driver's side wheel well after every rain).

I'm thinking about doing a lot of cool, unnecessary things on the Jeep. I want a lot of buttons on it, I know that. And cool wire harnesses. I think I'm going to build the Jeep around buttons.

But seriously, one thing I was thinking about driving home last night was rocker panel replacement airtanks. that would be sweet with 3 vessels to hold air. I know I wish my tank was bigger when I was at NACfest.

Better have at least one LED per button.

 why didn't I think of that? Now my chance has passed. Fawk. :roflmao:

So reading over my probation papers it says I can't drive after drinking. I'm not sure if that means "don't drive after having ANY alcohol" or "don't drive in any state that you could get another OUI". I think I'm going to call my probation officer later today and find out. If I can't drive after having a single beer for an entire year that's going to suck dick.

I mean it's not the end of the world but I would like to be able to go to the bar or a friends house for a pats/bruins/etc game or to work on cars/jeeps/etc and have a beer or two before heading home for the night.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have a $3300 credit card bills to pay back.
i have less than the minimum amount required by my bank in my savings account.
i have $23 in my checking account (getting paid today though, thank goodness)
i still owe my dad close to $1000 for the dwi, and still will be paying probably another few hundred when its all said and done.

yes i really dont have any really 'big' bills to pay, but this just sucks dick. yes, when its all said and done it will be great and 'should' be plenty reliable. i have so much time and money invested in this though i feel like getting rid of it is both wasting that but at the same time i feel like i should.

bottom line is i have a pretty good job and nothing to show for it except a pile of expensive parts bolted and welded together. no savings, no investments, no house, etc. i'm thinking cutting my losses, paying off my CC and starting to save is what i need to do, and i never should have gone this crazy in the first place.

Part out;)
