THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dana30's flex too much.

it seems that 44 junk can survive a little more abuse than a 30 although the u-joints are the same size.

and the rcv shafts being awesome argument doesnt work here in my eyes.

i have broken outer alloy shafts before anything happened to my plain ol' spicer 760's in fact my original set of 760's lasted through about 3 outer shafts each lol

this.

if my 44 holds 35s locked reliably, in the future i see myself rebuilding the axle (again) as a jana 50 and using d60 outers and running a larger tire. but i'll probably just leave it locked/locked on 35s.. which can do pretty much everything except the gnarliest of the gnar... in which case i'd want a buggy.

Doesn't Andy run 37" stickies on 44's front and rear? he seems to have no problems

I'm doing the Jana 50 for my 44 im building never thought of 60 outers, so 35 spline arb would let you run 60 sized ujoints along with larger spline outers?

my 44 rear lasted about 8 months on 37" creepies. with 33 spline alloys

my 44 front actually lasted on 37's til i went to 36's and then 35's. then all hell broke loose.

my wheeling style has gotten more agressive as time went on though

i not 100% sure but i dont see why not

i have a 35 spline chromo D60 rear

my front 44 is/will be almost fully polished from the start, unlike yours.

i will never wheel as crazy as you do... most of the time.

 X2! You are 85% the way there now!

On a totally different note, anyone have any experience (good or bad) with 4 Seasons (aka, SMP) A/C Compressors?

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We sell them and I have not heard of 1 failure.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Adam I say go for the 37's. as long as you dont drive like a crazed lunatic like samuel i think you'll be fine

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well, shit. Over the weekend I figured out I needed some FOA parts; I cracked a lower spring seat when the bumpstop disappeared and I've had a known leaky sealhead in the back for some time. Figured I'd replace those and get some extras to have on hand for next time.

Hey man -

I forgot about this, but I was working on the rig over the weekend and found the lower spring seat on the other side was cracked completely in half...came out in 2 pieces once I took the spring tension off.

So...guess now I'm lookin for 2 spring seats and 2 sealheads for the 2.5 shocks...shipping info is quoted below.

I hate to be a pain about it, but if there's a way to get 'em out here by Friday that'd be ideal - next race is the following weekend and I'd kinda like to get it sitting on its own again this weekend so I can prep everything.

Just let me know the $$ situation and I'll take care of it.

Thanks a lot!

samesies. two of my buddy's who i hang out with like every day both of g/f's with yellow wranglers on 35s. i cant run 35s solely bc of this.

Good news, thanks. My father's Dakota needs one. CAP seems to be the cheapest for them and they can have it for tomorrow morning for me. NAPA wanted $67 more for the same compressor.
I won't trust a Autozone/Advance branded version.
That was easy.
Well that's good!

35's are the new 33's which replaced 31's. They're everywhere!
