Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

reminds me of an old friend geno. he had a xj on 35's and didn't like having an airbag in his 95'. so instead of disabling it, he installed a tiny little "racing steering wheel" and quickly realized that leverage is a good thing to have

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WRONG - Ross. Damn ginger...I'm surprised his sausage fingers were able to type that out.
I'm impressed. I thought it was too well formulated to be Ross and I expected Adam to not be at your shop.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i expected ross to not be building a big dumb jeep with a big cool transfer case

try driving a H1 on 40's through North Adams with a tiny racing wheel, def not somthin id want to do again, the 502 sure did sound awsome going up the hills on rt2

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I thought that was the plan last weekend. And feel free to stop by whenever if you are down this way. I would offer to ride up your direction but the bike isn't really giving me warm fuzzy feelings lately so idk if I want to put more miles than I need to on it until I figure out whats going wrong.

If you are going to stop by tomorrow just let me know tonight... If I don't hear from you I will go ahead with the plan and try and get it in the mail ASAP tomorrow...

that was untill i forgot to grab your number and adress. i was on the cape went 495 all the way down then 6a? back to rt3 and got a flat right where rt3 meets 93/95.

Ah, gotcha. FWIW: I am about 15-20 minutes off 495. I could probably meet you just off the highway at home depot or honey dew sometime if you wanted.

You would have to go 495S to exit 7A (Rt 24N). Take 24N for one exit to exit 15 (Rt 104). Take a right off the off ramp which will put you right in front of honey dew & home depot.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so we were having an 'elevated' discussion at work about what qualifies someone as an actor, so i was like "i was on mtv and hosted an mtv news segment, does thats makes me as much as an actor as that guy" (the guy we were talking about who has some dumb 'plays himself' role in a howard stern movie) and the other dude fires off all pissed like "yea ok on spring break whatever i'm going to lunch" so i say to myself, ok, it's on.

i pulled the video up and showed everyone in the office and he was the only one who didnt watch. call me, the duke of ownage.

here it is btw.. idk if anyone here has seen it. it's basically a chevy cruze commercial.

i did have a free-for-all pass to the 2010 ny auto show during a press day, and hung out with that blonde audi model for like 2 hours.

I almost didn't recognize you without a black eye...

:D

:D

ive seen that kid since.

once maybe 2 weeks after the incident he stared me down for about 45 minutes across the room at a 99 restaurant

another time at me and my buddies local bar a few months later, whenever i walked within maybe 10 feet of him i would hear him suddenly speak up to his buddies "look at this piece of shit right here" and stuff like that. i wasnt too worried, being on a first name basis with all the bartenders, waitresses, and security has some perks.

saw him again at another bar down the road where he was creepin on random girls that were dancing. i lol'd

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So nice out. I just wanna drive the jeep and not work on it.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So instead of working on the Jeep or motorcycle I get to go to some dinner I forgot I was volunteered for tomorrow.

On one hand it's with family who I don't see often so it's OK.... on the other hand I have other shit to do so idk how I feel about it.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Everything in the engine bay is clamped, bolted down, or tied away.

Upgraded all the main positive and ground cables, still starts  even better actually.

Going to throw a new hub bearing on my truck tomorrow then get the interior together on the MJ.

 I wasn't all that motivated tonight (like usual) so I bought a bottle of soco, some coke, and watched the bruins.

Once the bruins are done for the season I think I will install an AC in the garage and get to work on stripping the unibody and installing the stiffeners, rockers, etc... though I still doubt I will make as much progress as you folks do.. Clearly I am just slow :gee:
