THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

New user title?

And hey, if you wanna spend the money on fancy-ass gaskets, that's your prerogative. :D

I need to keep my GSD title to remind me to finish my MJ as fast as possible.

I'm not even sure I'd be able to fit a flange. I'll probably just clamp it there and weld everything else.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I run clamps on the exhaust of my PSD and have no issues with leaks

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

In all seriousness, do you think I have anything to worry about getting a few trail runs in before the cage Chris?

It will probably be two runs before NACfest, then 3 days of NACfest wheeling, then I'm not wheeling it again until the cage is done.

FIFY!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my exhuast is welded on my new truck. i lost my muffler/tailpipe/midpipe/everything at least 10 times driving/wheeling xcountry with clamps... though i did smash them a lot.

or you just do it better

No, seriously, my jeep has always been magic.

I've owned it for 11 years and I still don't really know shit about working on "jeeps". I've never had to troubleshoot anything except the ECU, and that was a pretty easy one. The only sensor I've ever changed on either motor was the CPS when I ripped the wire out of it. My stock exhaust manifold from 1994 never cracked. My stock steering box spacer is still in one piece.

People at the shop come up to me all the time with jeep questions and I usually only have the vaguest idea of what they're talking about.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the last year or so people with buggies/non street rigs have been getting nailed because all those dirt roads are class VIers. There's all kindsa stuff on all the local forums about it you dingbat :twak:

or something like that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Would two of these work?

Do you just weld them on at the edge of each pipe and use a gasket inbetween them...?
I'm using those (just for 2.5" pipe) with a <$0.50 gasket from AutoZone.
Gotcha. Any recommendations for a head gasket?
Layered Mopar Performance gasket. Dealer has them for surprisingly cheap.
If you don't have a registration you need an OHV sticker in NH now if you're on private property
I had heard that, but how does he do about getting a sticker?
According to the wildlife NH website:

Who has to register their OHRV?
All OHRVs that are used off of the owner’s property must be registered. Motorcycles that are registered for highway use must also register as an OHRV if they are to be used off road. Conventional motor vehicles (cars and trucks) that are registered for highway use are not required to obtain an OHRV registration. Cars and trucks are not permitted on OHRV trails.
I'd just get a set of plates for it like I did Colin.
